hehe, we used to get illegals on the firing ranges at Camp Pendleton as well. Have to halt live fire training while the pack of illegals are rounded up and escorted to the Border Patrol. There are signs all over Camp Pendleton telling them not to cross into the area...it's even in Spanish...I can't imagine what it would be like to wake up to a platoon of Marines firing M-16s, SAWs and M-204s inches from where I was sleeping.

We really need to seal the border...this is getting ridiculous.

Because wetback is a slur, applied to one ethnic group and always in a derogatory fashion. Illegal is a description of legal status, applicable to any action or object. The words are not comparable.

I never said the Marines were the answer. I do not believe Marines are the answe. Evidently dialoge is not working either beciase V. Fox and his crew think it is their God given right to tell their citizens to break our laws.

Both are nuts. I'm not saying that we should hope for a viable third party so that we can vote for them - I'm saying that only a viable third party can drive the GOP to the right.

The GOP follows the democratic party and stays just to the right of it. The democratic party has been drifting further and further left and so has the GOP.

To be honest, I don't know of anyone off hand that could be an instant contender in a third party. The person would need to be a fiscal conservative but more libertarian on the social side.

Lately, the GOP has been running the exact opposite - social conservative/fiscal liberal. No wonder spending is out of control.

Actually.... I agree with you 100% about running some primary candidates to drive the party to the right. Tancredo is one, if he doesn't have skeletons, which I'm not so sure about. People write him off, but he makes a lot of sense when he talks, he's not the right-wing kook he's painted to be.

I'd like to see McClintock from California try to go national. I don't suppose a State Senator could make a serious run, but he's a darn good conservative and if he could get some money he might be able to make a splash.

Mainly we HAVE to get some people in there that won't allow the dead silence we heard on the illegal invasion last time around. That was the biggest load of bull I've ever been fed I think.
