Actually this is NOT a celebrity "playlist", it is a "personal mixtape" made for him by someone else:
McKinnon, who has downloaded "Castanets" by Alejandro Escovedo and "Alive 'n' Kickin"' by Kenny Loggins into Bush's iPod, said that sometimes a presidential playlist is just a playlist, nothing more.

Brown-Eyed Girl is a favorite? I guess Bush doesn`t mind hearing it for the 10 billionth time. I think out of the all time most overplayed songs in the history of recorded sound, that song has to be at least in the top 3.

She is under investigation for how she received information about the Valerie Plame/ CIA incident, as well as other classified information. She has refused to reveal her sources, and that is why I hope she gets indicted.
Not for the I-Pod, for goodness sake! I don't give two hoots about that!

Wow! the president listens to Van Morrison and more interestingly to me, Alejandro Escovedo (True Believers)
How would you likw the job of presidential Dj?

I think cyborg's list (#13) is probably the most complete.

I've never heard it, of course I haven't listened to top 40/pop music in about 20 years.

Clinton doesn't even Email. I bet he can't use an Ipod and doesn't have one. Now, he'll have to keep up with Bush and get one. He can tell us about his playlist. Then, the media can tell up how his list is so much cooler than Bush's.
