I suggested months ago that we(the U.S.) often emulate what the Israelis do. Security=life for them, they take it a lot more seriously than we do. They are building a serious fence. We need to do the same.

It will cost 2 billion to do it right, with a 10 foot high double fence encased with lots of razor wire and guards every 1/2 mile. But if it prevent only one 911 it's cost effective.

Do we want Hillary Clinton scratching her nails on the White House glass windows about those poor illegal only coming over here for jobs or do we want her clamoring to secure the border. Hmmmmmm.

Not for GW personally. Just to safeguard a foreign supplier. We import a lot of oil from Venezuala and Chavez has been threatening to shut off that supply. China has been buying up a lot of what is on the world market which is one reason for the spike in prices.

If it's a trade-off between Mexican oil and unlimited illegal immigration, we're getting the butt end of the deal (as usual). Mexican illegal immigration costs California 9 billion every year, and our gas prices are almost at 3 bucks a gallon now.

That was a great article - I've noticed that Rush has started talking about illegal immigration a lot more lately with the MMP going on. Another great effect the Minutemen are having. With Rush on our side, hopefully some Republicans will pay attention.

That's a great point - I actually hadn't thought of that .. but you could be right.

Now .. this Minuteman project gives the President the APPROVAL to get tough with immigration. Interesting ..??
