To paraphrase an old Crystal Gayle song:
"Some hurts can make you sad; some can make you mad; and some just go too deep for [FORGIVENESS!]"
ESPECIALLY WHEN THE ONLY REASON SHE'S "APOLOGIZING" IS TO SELL HER STINKIN' BOOK...(mumbles something about her being nothing but a political whore)>

I think this one is better. The lady is Oriana Fallaci, my favorite Italian writer. Se was in Vietnam, she staid there 7 years for her magazine. She was a War Correspondent and her ideas were very strong in Italy. No she's still writing. (And she's 76!!!). Try to read her "The Rage and the Pride": she said that we have to stand up with America today to defend our civilization because the only thing that is more important than to live with dignity is to die with dignity. And about the Second War in Iraq she said "As a proud defender of the West's civilization, without reservations I should join Mr. Bush and Mr. Blair in the new Alamo. Without reluctance I should fight and die with them. And this is the only thing about which I have no doubts at all." When you have some people special like Oriana, who cares Jane Fonda?

Why apologize now (not last year or 5 years ago)? And why via a book plug on TV?
If her "apology" was sincere and authentic, she should have given it some other time via a simple statement at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and a pledge to donate all of her wealth to the Memorial Fund.

She should be writing a book from her jail cell with her partner John Kerry after both were sentenced to life for treason.

Commie traitor bitch, now in her fourth decade of disgracing America.
I don't usually wish harm on anyone but the most loathsome scum in this world. Hanoi Jane is on the cusp and leaning toward most-favored status though.
On second thought - I do wish she would just die a horrible, painful death for the harm she's done to our Nation and especially our servicemembers.
Die bitch - die!

If she's coming to Dallas to sign books, I just very well may arrive with fellow Freepers/Protest Warriors to protest. My father, a graduate of West Point, served in Vietnam, alongside his best friend and fellow graduate who lost his life saving a wounded man. I was named after the latter. I'm not fond of Fonda.
