Tom DeLay for President 2008
What is so frustrating is that the MSM take every lie these bastards say and print them like they're the gospel truth.
Fortunately, it seems the country is wising up and rejecting the loser party.
I've been asking my leftists coworkers what DeLay did that got him so much attention.
He said something about geremandering and using his influence to track down the Texas Senate Democrat members (who left on a jet because they didn't like the way the meeting was going)
Other than that, he had no evidence and I couldn't find what he was talking about in the newspaper.
So my question is two-fold:
What did he allegedly do wrong?
And why isn't the paper focusing on this non-stop if he did it?
The local Fox affliate said the same thing this morning. All I have seen is Shays who is barely a RINO even.
Very Sick
It is sick, the liberals are violent people.
I've written the White House urging support for DeLay. I am so tired of the Democrats picking out a Republican and hounding him to death, and I am even more tired of conservatives and the target caving in to this kind of terrorism.
ClickOn March 24, former Congressman Bob Livingston was sent an e-mail by a New York Times editorial page staffer suggesting he write an op-ed essay. Would Livingston, who in 1998 gave up certain elevation to be House speaker because of a sexual affair, write about how Majority Leader Tom DeLay should now act under fire? In a subsequent conversation, it was made clear the Times wanted the prominent Republican to say DeLay should step aside for the good of the party.
Livingston in effect declined by responding that if he wrote anything for the Times, it would be pro-DeLay. But this remarkable case of that august newspaper fishing for an op-ed piece makes it appear part of a calculated campaign to bring down the single most powerful Republican in Congress. The Democratic establishment and left-wing activists have targeted DeLay as the way to end a decade of Republican control of the House.
end snip
I absolutely agree - I called my congressmen too in IDaho and told them to support Tom Delay!
