I disagree. I'm not saying the Senate is anything but a pack of RINOs, but I think our bigger problem is media bias. How would they get any press if the Republicans DID grow a pair? Fox? Even Fox follows the media noisemaking. Watch MSM for a half hour and then watch Fox, and see if the story coverage is different.

The focus has to change entirely, and that won't happen until a conservative media outlet evolves...which ain't happened yet. The web is pretty good, but it's not 100% there yet.

Well, who is supposed to be running this country, THE MEDIA or the CONGRESS ??? The media is a problem, but those responsible for running this country should be telling the media what they can do with their bias and get on with running the United States....I believe that is their job.

Excellent post, very informative. If Harry was a Republican, I am sure we would have had non-stop coordinated media hit jobs in print, TV, cable, left-blogs, and radio from 2003 until he would have been forced to resign. The Soros-Democrats are the epitomy of dishonesty and hypocrisy.

Congress might tell the media, but who will tell the people?

Congress is only a soapbox if the media reports on it. How many speeches does Ron Paul give? What about the old Golden Fleece awards Proxmire used to give? How often were those trumpeted?

The MSM still owns the agenda. It can only be influenced a little by the Congress. The web is the biggest threat to that ownership, but it's still only gonna work if a meme gets widespread.
