Her handlers have exaggerated and amplified her assets and abilities - just a tad perhaps.

The President is more of a Wilson Democrat that a Reagan Republican.

Reagan would never say or do the things that W is doing.

President Reagan would know that neither he nor we have the wisdom neccessary to remake such countries.
I agree with your entire comment.

Boy, isn't that the truth. I like her and am mostly proud of her accomplishments in her past life. Now, it's a different thing altogether. Certain high people in the administration have run all over her for years now.
Unless she has actually come to believe in this neo-Jacobin (neo-conservative) line in order to hold her position.

Let us ask, what is the most threatening agenda at this point to Western Civilisation? It is that of the radical Islamists, which is particularly dangerous since their adherents show little reluctance in dying for their cause.

I disagree, the greatest danger is the culture of death. Islamists may be willing to die for their cause, but we are willing to kill ourselves off for the sake of convienence and to indulge our lust. The Islamists need only wait a few more generations and they can walk into Western Europe, Canada and America and take over, there won't be enough people left to fight.

Of course you ignore the whole why question - my guess is you are swallowing the whole "they hate us for our freedom" nonsense. It couldn't possibly be they hate us because they don't want us to inflict our sick, twisted, secularized culture on their children. Tell me are you willing to kill and die for your children? I am, so why wouldn't they be?

Interesting article of relevance a few weeks ago in the Houston Cronicle. I think it was posted here at FR.

"Hispanic teen sex study puzzling Increased use of new language seems to lead to a much higher level of activity", By ERIC BERGER

To summarize

"A review of 7,300 Arizona teenagers' behavior, which should translate well to other states that border Mexico, including Texas, found that 31 percent of Hispanic teens who speak primarily English have had sex, more than twice the percentage of those who speak primarily Spanish, 14 percent."

So what's that tell you? They adopt our culture, their morals go out the window and their behavior conforms to our (lack of) standards. Muslims know our culture is sick, in fact they probably have a somewhat distorted view since what they see is Hollywood and the media, which is slightly more sick than the average American, but only slightly. They don't want this for their children, neither would I.

Sort of Hegelian, no? Jacobinism=thesis, traditional American conservatism=anti-thesis, and neo-conservatism=synthesis.

Actually, I think the terrorists do hate us because of our freedom in a way.

When the Supreme Court defines America's "freedom" as the right to sell pornography, the right to broadcast every MTV sluts' video around the world, the right to have gay marriages, the right to fornicate and commit adultery and the right to teach that every sort of perversion is a "lifestyle choice" that we must not only tolerate but respect....by that definition of freedom, you're darn right that's why they hate us.

Still doesn't stop me from supporting a Crusade against them though!
