That's the saddest part. Such unabashed support and blind eye to any controversy caused by them, as though it were totally one sided. Any real controversy should have rightly been put upon the Communists in power and fixed in that way.
We've followed this closely, as well. I remember about a decade ago, conversing with my mother, a great, undiscovered political mind in her own right, and her explaining the situation there to me in a way not covered by CNN. My grandparents came from Russia and eastern Europe and places east. When the US went into Yugoslavia and kicked out the Serbs (Christians) and gave advantages, one after another, to the Muslims of the region, we were shocked and critical of Clinton when many others (I didn't have a computer then) were hailing him as creating 'peace'. And now the region is a shambles and the Muslims are persecuting the Christian remnants or driving them out. France should pay very close attention. Mobs there are already hateful of the 'white' French and their Christian nation. How long till they overtake completely? A generation? And France already prosecutes anyone who speaks against the Muslims, as hate speech, most famously, Brigitte Bardot. How tolerant will the new Muslim majority be of France's culture - the fashion, the wine industry, the Catholicism, the art? We can look to Kosovo and Bosnia for the answer. Something they should be doing. I'd love to visit France before I need a burqa and permission from a male relative, and before the Cathedrals are turned into mosques. (Oops, now I sound like Ms. Bardot...)
"Or does this mean that in a few more years we're gonna have to pull their butts out of the fire. . . again."
You are not stupid, are you ?
Patience, Ecthelion, patience me lad.
They're setting up the PR now so no one
won't be surprised when they surrender again.
Scary thought.
Muslims in France with Molotov cocktails
gives a who new dimension to the meaning
of french fries.
(Shame on me. Shame on me.)
Sorry folk for the spelling errors
tonight, folks. I'm writing with
my mouth full.
Heh heh.
And to the other post, questioning my intelligence:
Know, I tihnk Me is smartered inuf.
I was kind of thinking that using sarc tags was not neccessary when speaking of the French.
This was one of the signs of the decline of the Roman empire too. Multiculturalism is its name today.
