Brit Hume interviewed Byron York last night about his new book and I was surprised to see this excerpt this morning. Very interesting reading....

Thanks very much for posting this!

"He said, 'I am concerned about the direction our country is going under this guy [Bush],'" ...snip.. "'I want to know what are the strategies that could be used to change this. Are there investments that could be made that could make a difference? How would you do this?' He approached it in a way that, I might imagine, he approaches investments."

I am sure I am not alone in thinking that Soros also invested in international monetary shenanigans devised to bring President Bush down.

The document, a PowerPoint presentation that outlined GOP strategy in the 2002 midterm elections and laid the groundwork for a similar strategy in 2004, had been made "unintentionally available" to Democrats in the first months of 2003, Steitz told me. It was not clear just how that happened — was it stolen? lost? leaked? — but once the document fell into Democratic hands, it was shared, e-mail to e-mail, among a number of top party strategists in Washington.

Heh, heh, heh.

"Democratic Senate aide found a CD-ROM lying on the ground in Lafayette Park"

If you found a CD-Rom laying on the ground, would you put it in your computer? There are people on Bush's staff that are giving documents to the Democrat party. Also, didn't this prove that there was coordination between the Dems and the 527 groups?

You're so welcome, Ella. York mentioned that five democrats donated over $75 million to 527's on behalf of Kerry. That was more than both candidates were given by the federal government to run their campaigns. There's no telling just how involved and far reaching the "shenanigans" were.

Wasn't there a woman that worked for the Bush campaign that they found was mailing documents directly to the DNC? Or did I just dream that?

If Soros is so big on "pro-democracy" he should be shouting GWB's praises from the mountain tops. After all, what recent President has had as much success in promoting democracy? How many middle-east countries would be leaning that direction with John Kerry or AlGore in office?

Soros is just a "pubbie hater" with his head in the sand.

A blast from the past - the mole in the Bush campaign:

"The latest scandal to hit Al Gore is that his campaign allegedly planted a ‘mole’ in the campaign of Governor Bush. A copy of Bush’s debate practice mysteriously showed up in Gore’s headquarters. When a disgruntled Gore intern turned over the tape to the FBI, the Justice Department launched an immediate inquiry. ABC’s Jackie Judd uncovered the story.

Judd, in her investigation, relied primarily on a source whose identity she is withholding for his protection. In an on-camera ‘in shadow’ interview, the source revealed incriminating evidence against the Gore campaign. The source told of high-ranking Gore staffer Michael Doyne who bragged about the Bush mole during the source’s first day on the job. Doyne showed him the fated computer where the mole’s e-mails were received, letting Doyne know ‘where Bush was going before Bush.’

Despite Judd’s efforts to protect her source, the Gore campaign was able to obtain his name and address. Promptly after discovering this, the source states, he was berated by furious Gore cronies demanding to know what exactly he revealed to the press.

Doyne has signed an affidavit denying knowledge of the existence of such a mole. He began to recant some of his statements, however, after investigators discovered e-mails warning friends to keep ‘hush, hush’ about the mole.
The story was set to air on ABC’s World News Tonight with Peter Jennings, featuring the shadowed interview. At the last second, top ABC officials scrapped the story.

Unsurprisingly, Gore denies all knowledge."

“Democratic activists built the biggest, richest, and best organized political movement in generations.”

If this organization could push a loser of Kerry’s caliber to within a hair’s breadth of the presidency, just think of what could have happened if they had been behind a lesser loser like Gephart. As investigations into voter fraud continue, we are finding out more every day that Kerry only came as close as he did to the presidency through massive voter fraud organized and funded by George Soros and his ilk.

If steps are not taken to eliminate voter fraud before the 2008 election, Soros just might be successful next time.
