How can the teachers unions & members be such staunch Dems when their party leaders show such little faith & support in public education?

Where else are they going to go? The Dems may not send their kids to public school but they are as hell send our money.

Yea, but the sad part is that each kid only gets one shot at getting a good education, and I don't fault the Dems for giving their kids the best one....just can't see why they won't admit that other parents want the best for their kids too.

Chelsea went to Sidwell Friends, Amy Carter went to a public school briefly. When the cameras were turned off, she went to a private school, or at least that's what I heard. I don't think any of the Kennedys ever set foot in a public school.
