A beautiful picture of Ronald Reagan and the Holy Father. Both men brought down Communism.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the Pope. It seems especially appropriate now.
Rest in peace, JPII.

I am quite suprised CBS is not showing this at all???I'm not surprised the Communist Broadcasting System isn't giving this news any air. I don't think they have gotten over the fall of the Soviet Empire yet.

I don't feel so sad and teary now, I just feel such joy! As they were announcing his death, the sun finally broke through the clouds after a day of heavy rain and chill, and the words of the Divine Mercy just came to my lips.
Praise to the Sacred Heart where Karol, John Paul II now resides in eternal joy!

I have been struck by the timing of the Pope's Death, and Terri's.
I think God is using the Pope's death to show the difference between His way, and man's way.
One brings joy, the other strife. One is blessed, the other brings despair.
It's almost the ultimate rebuke to Felos and the death merchants.

May his soul rest in peace.
He was a good man, what a loss.
I am Jewish and I am telling you from here that John Paul, II was a friend of the Jewish people.
I also remember his historical visit to Israel in 2000 and to Yad Va Shem- the Holocaust museum in Jerusalem.
He also helped a lot to end the communism in eastern Europe that led to the end of the communism in the USSR itself. He received a huge respect from me because of that.
Yehi Zichro Baruch!

Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song. What a wonderful joyous quote.

May God bless the soul of Pope John Paul II. Jesus, our Christ, embrace your servant, and we thank you for the gift that was John Paul II, our beloved pope.
To: Petronski
While I know I cannot feel the depth of grief and sorrow that Catholics are feeling; I've got about all I can handle here.
May his memory be eternal.
