I doubt that he understands the situation the way Keyes does.

ROFLMAO. A man who's never once had to put his own words into action. Right.

I am proud I supported and voted for Keyes in the 2000 primary. Not only this, he was a visionary regarding the Fair Tax and School Choice. No 'new tone'. No UN pandering. He would have been one amazing president.

Amen!

The Judges have ordered a lynching. It is sad to see rule od law perverted into allowing a murder. This is NOT Rule of Law.

It's fitting that Keyes is writing for WorldNutDaily.

I think it's time to put Keyes and Farah in the same room and let us all the heck alone. Keyes advocates destroying the standard of federalism over this and Farah compares this poor woman's current state to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ last week. They're both nuts

This isn't the Far Right of the Republican party (and I should know...;)), this isn't even the Evangelical Right. Most of the Christian conservatives I know have stated nature should have been allowed to take its course a long time ago

You're in favor of reparations then?

Did you ever think you'd be considered a MODERATE compared to some of these people?

If he's not the man to make and act on such a clear exmaple of right and wrong, he's not the man for the job.

Ahh.....you want a Governor that rules on "Situational Ethics", then. I thought only liberals wanted that.

Jeb Bush follows the law as an elected offical should. Don't like it? Change the law.

We don't know that Reagan would have done anything different. He never did anything to resist Roe v. Wade. The principles involved are identical, which is one reason the two Bushes are doing nothing. They know that the moment either one of them takes action to save Terri's life, the question will be asked: "Why don't you do the same thing to save the lives of all the babies who are dying because of court decisions?

The answer is that there is no answer. Terri has to die because saving her life would be too embarrassing to a Governor and a President who have winked while 4000 babies a day have been killed without any Executive action to protect their lives.

"Gee, what do you all have to say about the Goddess Anne Couter? She agrees with Keyes. And so does Bill Bennett.

Maybe that's why the topic is changed to Churchillbuff.

Yes you are right. At times it does come down to Rule of the Sword.

Recent examples include the War on Iraq. They had law there too. Men said -- that law is outlaw and we went and by force overlaw an evil regime --evil, yet lawful.

And older example is that written in the Declaration of Independence. A far less evil regime had gone beyond it's legitmate authority -- Under Natural Law, Under Common Law.

The Declaration was a legal complaint. Yet it was itself illegal -- treason, rebellion -- a capital crime for all involved in it.

What gave it force? Only Victory. Only force carried to Victory.

A Force by Sword and Gun, that G-d Himself, we believe did bless -- as history shows, for we have been a Nation raised for a purpose in the world.

I think Alan Keyes should drop in on his homie, Klayman, and try taking a cup of water to Terri. I am sure they won't arrest him and that he would explain how he is above the law.

I must be in the middle. Some of them are so far right and left, I can't tell the difference.

A County Sheriff is the supreme law enforcement officer within that jurisdiction and the only one that is elected. A County Sheriff can even over-rule a Federal agent.

While all that is nice, a Sheriff cannot overrule the Governor. The Governor is also an elected official, BTW.

Just for the record, not all counties here in FL have elected Sheriffs. Some (2 or 3, I believe) are appointed by the Governor.

Maybe Keyes should take care of his own family problems before he lectures the rest of us.

You're in favor of reparations then?

Absolutely! Anyone proving that they were once a slave should be able to seek recompense from the former slave owner.

I'm off the hook, BTW. I was born 100+ years after slavery was abolished. My family emigrated in the 1890's. I couldn't possibly owe anyone anything.

Did you ever think you'd be considered a M******E compared to some of these people?

Hey don't use such language around me.. ;). And I really can't believe it. I don't know where they came from to tell the truth. I've been informally polling some people at work, friends, etc. Will have to say the ones that advocate national government intervention tend to be that way on every issue. I believe some Republicans that think these people agree with them are going to find themselves in bed with the wrong sort after it's all said and done

There are men who fear criticism more than they fear death. Bush I seems to have been such a man. Bush II and Jeb are murderers, plain and simple, who don't understand the Constitution or their duty.
