I did a search and came up with zip previously.
Certainly the author has plenty of credibility, in my opinion.
Prayer is in order for such ministries and moves of God. God's Spirit and power, work equal the only force that can truly counter the satanic forces infecting and using Islam so destructively around the world.
This doesn't surprise me, dear Quix. From prophetic words and articles I've read and heard, God is moving in the Middle East. People have dreamt of a man in white robes coming to them. It's Jesus. He wants His way in the Middle East and He's going to have it. That's why we need to pray for those who despitefully use us! It won't get done any other way. Of course you won't hear about this in the MSM. The thought of God scares the hell out of them (and I hope it does!). Maryxxx
I don't see how they arrive at this 1.5 million number. Anecdotal accounts from underground pastors in nations where Christianity is not officially recognized or sometimes persecuted? How are "conversions" counted? By church attendance, baptisms, or just a confession in a secret place?
What constitutes a conversion to Evangelical Christianity? How does one quantify such a value? Is there a measurable growth in church memberships? Is there growth in tithes and offerings? The report comes from the Left Behind web site. How do the authors and promoters of a fiction bestseller come to be an accurate source for such info.
Although I rejoice at the prospect that the Gospel is spreading to every nation, I find these numbers to be dubious and falsely encouraging. One of the signs that will accompany such conversions is that the shrill cry of "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" will fade with the spread of Christianity. Tolerance, respect for human rights and freedom go hand in hand with democracy. We've still got a long row to hoe.
