I don't see how they arrive at this 1.5 million number. Anecdotal accounts from underground pastors in nations where Christianity is not officially recognized or sometimes persecuted? How are "conversions" counted? By church attendance, baptisms, or just a confession in a secret place?

What constitutes a conversion to Evangelical Christianity? How does one quantify such a value? Is there a measurable growth in church memberships? Is there growth in tithes and offerings? The report comes from the Left Behind web site. How do the authors and promoters of a fiction bestseller come to be an accurate source for such info.

Although I rejoice at the prospect that the Gospel is spreading to every nation, I find these numbers to be dubious and falsely encouraging. One of the signs that will accompany such conversions is that the shrill cry of "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" will fade with the spread of Christianity. Tolerance, respect for human rights and freedom go hand in hand with democracy. We've still got a long row to hoe.

Well essentially, per our own FREEPER jammer's personal report of the activities and perceptions of his family members and friends on the front lines in such contexts . . .

(SEE POST 196) . . .

It seems, to me, that you are ESSENTIALLY SAYING HE IS EITHER DELIBERATELY DECEPTIVE AND OR DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT.

I think jammer's construction on the true realities involved is likely much more accurate than yours.

I do not believe that even if the conversions reach 500 timnes these amounts that it will have the lasting political impact we seek because satanic forces are going to be very effective in setting up the Biblically predicted one world government.

But God promised Abraham that HE would also take care of Ishmael. God is going to do that. Many Moslems earnestly seek God in spite of hideous deceptive teaching and other destructive cultural forces.

It is still God's universal law that HE THAT SEEKS ME SHALL FIND ME. God is able to arrange that even for the ignorant tribal individual in the darkest jungle.

Actually, the devotion to the demonic moon god allah whom they construe as the God of Abraham; is more intense and faithful for many Moslems than that of many Evangelical Christians. It should not be overly surprising that in these end-times, God is moving to answer their hearts' cries in dramatic dreams, visions and other miracles of healing drawing them to Himself.

Skpepticism to some degree is warranted in making such assessments. But many of us who have been on such front lines are a good check. And, thankfully, we have a good FREEPER--jammer--to verify that the figures, if anything are CONSERVATIVE.

I'm much more inclined to cheer all such and God on to even greater more such.

I have found THE FATHER, SON AND SPIRIT ARE

MUCH MORE BY NATURE INCLINED TO BE:

YES! AND AMEN!

than they ever are any kind of charry, judgmnetal naysaying. You don't seem quite in that category--but, uncomfortably close, to me.

Rather than receive the praises of men, it's better that we don't know who should receive God's blessing for such works.
