Was it the music he listened to, the movies he watched, the video games he played, the Web sites he visited or the medication he took (the most plausible)?

Somebody's bought a clue!

A breath of fresh air! A real-life, intelligent solution to the problem! ...which has been advocated by us "gun nuts" for years!!

When a violent person is attempting to kill innocent people, there is usually only one answer that works: defend those lives by ending his.

Well, now, there's an interesting angle. It seems the son of the chairman of the Red Lake Chippewa --
Everyone knows that this happened on the Red Lake Indian Reservation, right? And that pretty much everyone involved is (or was) an American Indian?
-- anyway, the 15-year-old son of the chairman (don't call him chief; that's so 19th century) of the Red Lake Chippewa was arrested Sunday night on conspiracy charges, for apparently helping Weise to plan this massacre. In fact, based on email found on Weise's computer, authorities are now talking to three or four more young thugs who allegedly wanted to participate and are only upset that Jeff started without them.

Dear God in Heaven, what kind of amoral young psychos are we raising in this country?

I took your advice. To repeat, it might be helpful to drop the author a line today. I suspect he is getting a lot of flak. myost@pioneerpress.com

Thanks for the Minnesota bump. I've followed this closely.

I believe most news sources initially obtain their info from papers nearby.

Well, I'm not a gun person who knows alot about guns, but I have followed this story.

He killed his grandfather who was a law enforcement officer.

He used his grandfather's guns at school.
