I work with several folks who are former naval nuclear types, have yet to meet one that isn't as sharp as a tack. Congratulations.

Good story. I'm amazed how engineers can build nuclear reactors for naval vessels, yet we're so behind in national power resources on land We could put copies of those same Naval reactors on barges in protected bays and other sheltered areas, run power lines to the shore, and have plenty of power (while sticking a finger in the eye of the Oil Sheiks and the terrorists they support). Most of our power load is near the ocean or great lakes so that would work out pretty well, but it would be too sensible, so it's unlikely to happen.

Destroying the power of the Envirowhackos should be a high priority for us.
To: Doohickey
Hey no fighting in the War Room.
To: Doohickey
That's "submariner or target" to you, mister Pronounced "sub-mare-in-er". Right?
To: Non-Sequitur

Don't worry about ol' Doohick. He's always teasing us ex-Sonarmen with the "girly" thing.
Just get used to it.
Having been an RM1(SS) then all of those RF electrons has probably made him impotent!
Gotcha back, Doohick!

Thanks. We are the past. Your son is the future. God bless him.
To: El Gran Salseron
I can do his job and mine. If he tried to fix something electronic, you would only see smoke.
