WASHINGTON - She was a girl who laughed easily at her uncle's lame jokes. A girl so naive that she wrote to John Denver, asking him to come sing at her wedding, who went to Disney World for her honeymoon and believed that a good life meant that one day she'd be able to vacation there every year with her kids.
She was a girl who loved animals and worshiped cute television stars, paying homage to heartthrobs Starsky and Hutch by naming two gerbils after them. She daydreamed about working for a veterinarian when she grew up, or maybe just being a dog groomer.

Brilliantly put!
Then I submit the LAW has become a caricature of itself.
He's a whole bunch of things that can't be said in prime time.
Sure, he's totally human, and so is Terri. This is America people. She is not his possession. She is human too, and if he gave up on her he should have lost control of her. He can't just throw her away like a broken dish. Let her keep her humanity too. No one really knows what she wanted so we should err on the side of life.
I didn't say he broke the law. I said we need to make sure the law is changed.
He got discouraged as soon as he had the money in his hands. Not after 17? years.
Look, marriage is being torn apart daily - which I totally disagree with. But we need to pass some kind of new legislation that makes sure a spouse looses his designation as next of kin when he starts a relationship with someone else. Would you want your spouse to decide if you live or die if they're involved with someone else?
Yes. As his guardian, he is required by law to file certain documents pertaining to her care with the courts. He hasn't done so for several years.
In his testimony for the malpractice suit, he asserted he wanted to take care of her for the rest of her life and became a nurse expressly to do so. In his testimony before Greer he all but denied this and asserted she wanted to die. Thats perjury, which the last time I checked is a crime.
He lives openly with another woman and has fathered 2 children with her. That's adultery, which I believe is a misdemeanor under FL law. That also is breaking the law. Do your homework so you can ask more relevant questions and you won't look so ignorant.
Cindie
Thank you! (I wish I was eloquent.)
You're making my point!
You say you would want your dayghter to die and noy suffer. Fine, I can understand that. As a parent that's your decision.
The question I'm putting to you is- what if the husband is the legal guardian and he says to you "_______you, me and the courts say I'm going to allow your daughter to live and suffer,
Now,, what do you do?
"She's a vegetable, remember. The man wanted kids. BTW, in Michael's eyes Terri died in 1990."
You must feel pretty emphatic about that, you posted it twice.
Fine. Great. If she's dead in his eyes since 1990, what's he doing in her life now? Go have kids. Move on. The woman's dead. Right?
But, no, he doesn't move on. He doesn't say to the parents, I leave this dead vegetable who can't have kids, and you feed and water her. Instead, he stays around for 15 more years, and then stops the parents from giving her food and drink,
That sound right to you?
Notice how the N.O.W. don't give a sh*t when it comes to certain WOMEN being wronged? They are dead silent when it comes to:
PAULA JONES and her cry for justice.
JUANITA BROADERICK and her cry for justice.
KAREN WILLEY and her cry for justice.
ELIAN GONZALEZ's decease mother and her cry (from the bottom of the Carribean Sea) for freedom for her young boy.
TERRI SCHIAVO and her cry for justice.
All of these women were on the side opposing either Death, Corruption or Communism, or all three.
AND THAT IS WHY N.O.W. cannot ever come to their assistance!!
