I am not going to put this in breaking news because I am not certain of the source!

Well, it's been a while. We're due for another one of these.

True. This is a breaking News source from Ireland it looks like. I don't know how credible it is. Well I guess its better than "we have him on the run" or "we almost, could have, would have, captured him!".

I am not going to put this in breaking news because I am not certain of the source! Don't we have this story every Sunday? I guess it was delayed one day because of the Holiday.
Man, it would be GREAT if it was true, though, but I agree that you should wait until it is verified.

DOn't hold your breath. That being said, I'm all for the return of public stake burnings when they get hold of this scumbag.

What a media hog Zawaqawi is, its been what 2-3 weeks since we have heard he was captured. Being upstaged by Michael J and Michael S must be very irritating to him

I am not going to put this in breaking news I'm glad you didn't. There's nothing remotely breaking about this story. Zarqawi is supposedly surrounded in a certain area, and this government official hopes by the end of the year he'll be captured/killed. wow

He must be down to his last 5 senior lieutenants.

How do we reconcile this
He is surrounded in a certain area, and we hope for the best."
with this?
Al-Nakib said al-Zarqawi was moving in more than one area,

What fascinates me about this picture is that the power pole in the center is severed and hanging by it's wires, while the one right next to the house is still intact. Maybe they were under orders not to knock the power out. Just a strange thing. Reminds me of once when I was detailed out of Goodfellow AFB with some other Intel grunts to do tornado cleanup. We found a fully stocked refrigerator in a cornfield at least 1 mile from any damaged houses/trailer. Inside was a dozen eggs, unbroken, in their little cubbie holes. The wonders of styrofoam and the structural strength of an egg, indeed.
