"They will quickly invent reasons for why the Republican leadership caused Terri's "painful" and "tragic" death."
And will quickly attempt to turn the President's and Governor Bush's base against them for not doing more. Of course, if they had, we'd hear more of "separation of powers".........Why've we not heard the terms "separate but equal," and "checks and balances" a little more lately? This death culture infiltration is certainly making a mess of our forefathers' intentions.
Michael Shiavo: Scott Peterson with court order.
Thanks.
I too fear for our future generations.
Easy. All the posts that say that Governor Bush should not save Terri's life. Anyone who wants Bush to continue to violate his oath of office, as he is currently doing by refusing to save her life, wants Terri to die.
- clear delivery of what is the new level, i.e. providing all the details that the average person needs to understand it
- packaging the delivery, to keep the refusal level below the critical mass, during the process of acceptance.
- as soon as the process is completed, the bill can be presented.
So for the average person to understand what the bill is, it only needs to rewrite the delivery as a question.
As far as the title of this thread, check the previous bill
Thanks, CHARLITE. It's possible it was pulled if the article were proprietary in some way. Still, it would be great to find it again. Orson writes a column called World Watch at a Web Site called The Ornery American. I hope it turns up there soon, if I can't find it again on FR.
Take a closer look at those on this forum who have sided with the "Culture of Death" on this issue. They may be republicans but they certainly aren't Conservatives.
Wrong Wrong Wrong. Liberal Democrats did not wasnt Terry Schiavvo to die. Did you? You are the ones who invaded her family's privacy and her dignity, to capatalize on her tragedy. I think you who waited outside her room with signs contributed to her death -- did you want her dead? Surely not. Bless Terry Schiavvo's heart. She told her husband that she did not want to be kept alive like this. They loved each other, and they knew each other. It wasn't until the Christian right decided to take Terry on as a cause that all the questions arose. I feel ashamed of all of you for robbing the diginity that her husband and parents had preserved for her for so many years. He had attempted some very expensive and extraordinary treatments of her years and years ago.
The people of Florida that I know were repulsed that Congress acted on her on a Sat. at midnight to be sure they were on teh right. Interestingly, polls showed that American voters disagreed with this intrusion.
Bless Michael Schiavvo and Terry's parents. May she rest in peace with God in heaven. And may those who took advatage of the situation and made a tragedy much more unbearable for her family, get there just deserves as well.
