Someone told me something about our mixed race neighborhood here in Garden City once. "There's reasons why people are poor. There's no excuse for people acting like trash."

Give a trashy guy with no respect $100 million from the lottery and you have a trashy guy with a $100 million.

None of us want our children to be murderers or thieves. But Cosby never acknowledges that most poor blacks don't have a choice about these things. Why should he acknowledge something that just isn't true ????

yep, i can't believe he's saying that po' blacks are not responsible for their actions.
meanwhile, the kids on the streets believe this, and run their lives accordingly.

I find it quite interesting that women have come out of the woodwork to accuse Mr. Cosby of sexual abuse just at the time his "responsibility" message was getting a lot of press. Reminds me of the sudden appearance of Anita Hill when Clarence Thomas was being confirmed.

you're right!
wadn't that interesting.
bill cosby says something the leftist media denies and all of a sudden he's got woman problems!

>And he reinforces his idiotic beliefs with this:
I don't believe in that kind of American John Wayne individualism where people pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
Why take care of yourself, when, as the 'rats believe, everyone else in society will cover for you.

[ There's a dark underside to philanthropy. People who give a bunch of money are deferred to, even when they are wrong. The emperor cannot be shown to have no clothes. ]
Is he referring to P.Diddy or Bill Cosby.?.
Cosby is someone to be respected.. Diddy is a fugitive from the Jerry Springer Show at large..

it worked well for the english, irish, jews, germans, italians, ... etc., but for some reason blacks are better than this.

I'm 46. I grew up in Detroit. I was a teen father. I lived on welfare for three years. I have a brother serving life in prison, though I believe he's innocent. He's in for second-degree murder. Why do you think you were able to succeed when your brother could not? My talent was more easily identifiable.
Which talent is that?
My talent for oratory, for running my mouth.
It's obvious the man's a spouter not a thinker.

None of us want our children to be murderers or thieves. But Cosby never acknowledges that most poor blacks don't have a choice about these things. He exposes his faulty thinking with a statement like this. Everyone has choices, regardless of what idiots like Tyson might think.
