Jeb has a duty to ALL the citizens of Florida, not just Terri. It is unfortunate that her death will be such a tragedy. But her death may also cause the reforms needed for the court system. That said, Greer was still ELECTED NOT APPOINTED.
And yes I am very proud of this nation. We make our mistakes, but we are a country of men and women who are not perfect either. It's better than anything else out there. Take it or leave it.

There is a big difference in Jim Jones followers and Saundra Duffy. She wouldn't commit suicide to be with the Lord. She said she would love to be going to be with Jesus like Terri is. She knows she must wait till her time. I see nothing wrong or "cultish" about longing for Heaven.
