"Amazing how she can survive a week without food and water but goes into cardiac arrest simply by being bulemic."

More proof the fanatics don't know what they are talking about....

Meddical complications from bulimia?

* Erosion of tooth enamel because of repeated exposure to acidic gastric contents.
* Dental cavities, sensitivity to hot or cold food.
* Swelling and soreness in the salivary glands (from repeated vomiting).
* Stomach Ulcers.
* Ruptures of the stomach and esophagus.
* Abnormal buildup of fluid in the intestines.
* Disruption in the normal bowel release function.
* Electrolyte imbalance.
* Dehydration
* Irregular heartbeat and in severe cases heart attack
* A greater risk for suicidal behavior
* Decrease in libido

I think we're being too hard on Jeb here. I just do.

Hey South, take heart...look at the millions of people who DO NOT WANT her to be killed. We far outweigh the culture of death, however, we have lazed around for too many years and now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.

Impeach these murdering judges.

Don't let this cloud the fact that hospice does a wonder thing in unfortunate situations.

Thanks so much for your derision. Jeb is not one of the villains. I'm just saying that I'm reserving my blame on those who truly deserve it. (That does not include you, either. I'm sure that makes your day.)

It's all about the judges. Do not expect any relief until the Republicans get some spine and appoint conservative judges no matter the cost. Pure and simple.

Impeaching a couple would also be a good idea.

Someone wrote this to me this morning on another thread: I am very disapointed in Jeb ............ As usual, republicans talk a good game but NEVER EVER have the courage of their convictions.

For what it's worth, I wrote back. The following is what I wrote:

May I comment on your words .....

The 'old media' regrettably is still greatly influential, still effective in molding and creating the opinions of the majority of Americans. For instance, look at the distorted and neatly fashioned polls on the Schiavo issue (ABC's for instance.) The questions were slanted, they were outright fraudulent polls and results. Terri's real condition was consciously misrepresented in the questions of these polls. Then there was the media not presenting Terri's condition from 1990 on, ill-treatment in the hospice, and the rest of the truth of the entire matter.

I've been studying media bias for close to 40 years and am quite aware of the evil power of that bias and the way, in the end, it can destroy a free nation. But media bias and the effectiveness of that bias has never been so clear and obvious than in the (non)coverage of the Terri Schiavo case. Never have I seen a citizenry more ignorant of the facts of a story -- never so incorrectly informed, and never has that bias been so maddening! Not even the citizens' recent ignorance of the real John Kerry or the realities of Rathergate could match this. No news story has made the power of bias more clear than this one.

What I'm trying to say (but saying poorly) is that the American people are so ignorant of the facts of this case, so disinformed that if it were true that Jeb were actually afraid of political ramifications from his actions, it would be easy to see why he were.

But "courage of convictions", as you mention, is another thing. In politics these days "courage of convictions" is nearly an impossibility, especially with a media constituted in the way that it still is today. With a continuing extremely influential left/liberal/socialist/anti-American old media still in place and keeping most of the people ignorant, any courageous act by a conservative to try to rescue Terri is tough to do. Because the media has so very effectively continually distorted Republicans' and others' motives to come to this girl's rescue, every courageous act will be colored in a political way. But that courageous act should be performed anyway, imo.

I think Jeb and the Republicans would win politically in the end if they did the moral thing.

But, is 'winning in the end' the most important thing today? Well, sadly I guess it is. 'Doing the right thing' may not be.

****

Have a meaningful Good Friday. **********

What a bunch of ghouls. Dr. Josef Mengele would doubtless be very interested in these medical prognostications and observations. I have nothing else to say on this subject.

But other physicians — some of whom combine medicine and Christian missionary work — strongly disagree.

Notice how the anti-Christ AP just HAD to mention they also do Christian work.
What are they really saying? Only sinners are trustworthy doctors? Thou SHALL give false testimony?

Who should people believe? Those who believe lieing will destroy their immortal soul, or someone who feels lieing depends on the meaning of the word "is" or "who is asking and what's the pay off?"

"Most studies show that patients nearing the end of their lives do not experience hunger," said Ryan Walker, a spokesman for the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association.

That's because they're so terminally ill and drugged up you could run them over with a truck and they wouldn't feel it.

Without a national euthanasia policy

We already have a suicide policy. It's illegal.

hospice nurses rated the deaths of terminally ill people who voluntarily stopped eating and drinking. On a scale of zero to nine, with the highest number being "a very good death,"

KEY WORDS - Terminally ill. What's this got to do with Terri? They're sicker than heck. Terri was fine.

So if we get bored with our pets or farm animals, we can peacefully, euphorically starve them to death? It's so pleasant, why would any one object?

But in a statement, groups representing hospices said the Schiavo case has raised "erroneous medical claims" that stopping food and water causes terminal patients considerable discomfort.

But she's not terminal. That's the whole point, and they missed it again. Just who is making erroneous medical claims?

It was important he have a house and a new car first. After that, paying his legal fees to kill his wife came into play. Don't worry about Mikey, though, there's a nice, big life insurance policy to help get him through "the sorrow."

If I mistreated a dog in this manner,i.e. starvation and no water, the authorities would arrest me, take the dog to the animal shelter and then "humanely" euthanize it.

There is a huge group of people out there who see euthanasia as the rational solution to what inconveniences them. You all realize that a desire for the means of self-protection is prima facie evidence you are mentally incompetent,too . The liberals ultimately want refusal to embrace their agenda a reason for disposal.

The Nazis' inheritors are doing well in the U.S. of A., so far they've killed 40 million so what's one more defenseless woman ?

The left fought so hard to kill Terri because they fear a rollback of abortion.Any nation which systematically and ruthlessly kills its future shouldn't be shocked when it ceases to exist.
