As you said..it is in our faith, and they differ.

I was asking about the lines of succession of the other apostles (not Peter). I wanted to look at the lines of Bishops that succeeded the other 11.
Who succeeded Paul, John, James etc?
I noted your scriptures about how Judas was replaced.

Freud has been both debunked and superceded by modern psychiatry ... many mental illnesses that Freud said were due to traumatic early childhood experiences are in fact based in biology... the 'talking cure' have been replaced by Prozac, and it is now recognized that depression and other mental diseases are chemically based.

Freud however was able to call 'traditional morality' a neurotic condition, and so enabled 'free love' advocates to create our current climate of cultural degradation, on behalf of a end to 'repression of sexual desires' and other diagnoses that have nothing to do with reality of mental health.

Radio just said the Pope is probably going to get a feeding tube.

I am waiting for the talking heads to push to get it removed.

Prayers to JPII. While not a Catholic, I admire him as a Christian leader.

Why did Paul feel the need to minister to the Romans in spite of Peter's presence there.? Paul did not acknowledge
Peter's presence which is uncharacteristic. They always mentioned their fellow apostles (if in the vicinity) in their letters..greetings, salutations etc but in his visits/interactions with the Romans, Paul does not mention Peter's presence in Rome.

There are plenty of priests ministering in Rome today in spite of the successor of Peter's presence there.
