A spokeswoman for Bristol City Council said: “The Asbo was sought after we received a number of complaints from the wider community who found the sign to be racially and sexually offensive.”

Perhaps Catholics should complain about fish being served or even advertised on any day but Friday. How about Catholics demanding that no one have sex because it offends the sensibilities of the priest. (Well, I guess that last is a little stretch even for hyperbole.)

Oh I get it! Now you can't advertise a butcher shop or have a sign in a grocery store advertising a sale on pork chops or go to a movie featuring Miss Piggy or ..........geez! If they can't handle the modern world they should head their little butts back to Cairo. Either that or gain a sense of humor like the rest of normal civilization.

If the remark about all the butcher shops having once been in that area is even partially true, it seems a Historical Marker comemmorating them would not be out of order. One that would describe the type of animals butchered and the large amounts of blood spilled.
