CALL THE UNDECIDED FLORIDA STATE SENATORS. INFO AT WWW.RIGHTMARCH.COM
Better two more times at bat than just one though, no? I haven't gotten the feeling that SCOTUS is going to be willing to give this another look.
But I admit I could be wrong...
Indeed, this is awful news.
But hardly unexpected.
That leaves the Florida Legislature; or Governor Bush acting in accordance with his oath of office to uphold the Florida constitution, particularly Section Two.
Barring that, we need a sovereign act of God.
Frankly, at this point, even this eternal optimist is starting to believe the latter is the only hope Terri and her family have left.
This Is How It Starts
The scene is wrapped in a spiritual fog
With snarling german shepherd dogs
Barricades and armed guards
For any who dare to think
Of entering that yard
Inside, a helpless woman
To them, a 'useless eater'
Not worth a drop of water
They won't even feed her
Nazi Germany
In nineteen-thirty-eight?
No
Pinellas Park
Florida
Today
'Woodside' isn't a merciful 'Hospice'
God help us all
It's more like a well-landscaped Auchwitz

True, this is a step towards the dark.
A gun fight at the hospice?!
If anyone is mounting a mass action to rescue her, my four sons and I are less than 2 hours away, please let us know. They cannot act if there are, say, a thousand people.
A serious case of Elian deja vu--picture the most evil decision and--voila, it has been made.
Sad Day in America ping.
I think you got it right. On consideration, a full 11th Circuit review gives her two more shots inside the judicial branch rather than one.
or a mob of citizens who go down there and take the hospice hostage.
But, of course, that would only be temporary and not a very good idea anyway.
No, you don't take the hospice hostage, you get her out of there and into another state under another name.

The majority cites heavily from an exchange between Frist and Levin.
why is this case more important than all the other previously failed cases over the last couple decades? (i'm not implying anything by my question, it is just a question)
terri is not the first person w/o a living will to be starved to death in this country.
This case is truly dispiriting. The people seem not to matter in this country anymore. Unelected leftist judges are calling the shots... this isn't a good feeling.
Anybody know anything about the justices on the 11th that made this crummy decision.
Actually the law provided for a completely new review of the case completely ignoring any state court precedent.
However, before the challenge itself can be considered, the little matter of Terri having her tube removed needs to be dealt with first. Once she dies, there is no point in any challenge.
Please notice the timing - this Sunday is Easter. We are witnessing the modern day replay of the death of Jesus. Killed by the black robed atheist judiciary.
Makes me wonder what The Lord will do. Maybe it's time for Passover v2.0. (H5N1)
Oh Jeffo, your post about you and your sons is breaking my heart and now I'm balling. Bless you and yours.
