(game's up)????

Not likely....

As for us leaving the UN, that will never happen in a billion years.... I like the idea of leaving the UN but it will never happen.. the political fall out would be crazy... and we want to hold on to congress in 2006 and win the White House in 2008...

Maybe we can change the rules or pull some funding but thats as far as it will go.

These accusations are just another attempt of "The Man" to keep a brother down.

Prediction, plays race card and walks away free, laughing all the way to the bank.

MIDI - FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD

We'd debate in the U.N....goodness, here we go again
All we saw was their stonewalling

This one really takes the cake...many had been on the take
All those scumbags should be falling

Marc Rich had been where he shouldn't have been
Thanks to Bill, he would get away clean

And we're ready for major league *ss kicking now
That is nothing like we've ever seen

Food, oil for food...the U.N. was scamming
Kofi, you are toast...FOX News says it damning

No wonder they voted NO...money had been flowing
They hoped that their bank accounts kept on growing

Food, oil for food...10 billion they'd gather
This story does not...interest Mr. Rather

Saddam had paid terrorists...connect all the dots

It's food...oil for food...they are so screwed...oil for food

Food, oil for food...the U.N. was scamming
Kofi, you are toast...FOX News says it damning

Money had bought weapons that killed some of our soldiers
Chirac, we should make sure you don't grow older

Food, oil for food...10 billion they'd gather
This story does not...interest Mr. Rather

Saddam had paid terrorists...connect all the dots

It's food...oil for food...oil for food...they are so screwed...oil for food
Oil for food...they are screwed

I think some people need to spend a few years in jail. It sickened me when I heard that the UN was paying for the legal defense of their people from the Iraqi oil money held in trust.

Only $300K? That's it?! Guy's an idiot, plain and simple. He'll be a scapegoat. Marc Rich and others stole hundreds of millions. They should go after them.

They should, but instead we keep them alive with their funding. Our money just oh, by the way.

Game is not up, Kofi will just deal another hand. And Congress will ante up. Some hands Congress wins, some hands Kofi wins. The UN is nothing but a high stakes international poker game that the kings of the world play with tax money. The US will never quit now, Texans like poker.

... comes as the independent UN inquiry led by Paul Volcker into possible abuses within the oil-for-food programme prepares to publish a new report on this matter.

De-ja-vu ... Volcker's report will be another white wash ... akin to the investigation into CBS's 60 Minutes II Bush TANG hit piece. Don't expect much ...

This organization without law seeks ways for it's bureaucrats to derive assets from the property and labor of others.

How about Kofi's boo-hooing to change things at the UN?

Methinks he might be trying to save his job.

Oh my, a new human-rights commission? Do ya think? Do ya think having Libya and Syria as the head to have been a bit of poor judgement?

Alas, he needs more money and is going to dictate a percentage of our GNP as "dues" to the UN.

Hey Kofi, just wait till you have to deal with Bolten.

Oops, maybe Bolton already dealt with Kofi.

.......so he SHOULD be prosecuted and punished.

Who's got priority in this case? Who is recognized, in the case of the UN, to perform a prosecution of charges? The Hague? The UN? Who or what is the equivalent of the District Attorney and will press charges? Does the UN have a court? Does the UN have a jail that he can serve his 5-10 years in?

What I'm driving at is this scumbag will walk away, albeit with a tarnised name, unpunished.

Its findings, expected next Tuesday, will address allegations that Kojo's family connections may have helped Cotecna obtain the UN contract.

No more UN for US-list

If people want on or off this list, please let me know.
