What ever happened to the original petition that Terri's parents filed to remove HINO as guardian? Is that still outstanding?
Maybe he was waiting for a moment when he thought the guy might actually hear it. I dunno.
Lord! Fill her with Your Living Water. Wrap Terri and her family in Your loving arms and protect them from the evil that is trying to consume them. Amen and Amen!
Yes ... it hasn't been heard since 2002 or 2003.
I'm trying to calculate...we're at four days now...she has gone longer. God love her, she's gone longer. We're not gonna lose our girl friend.
I dunno... I believe the outcome of this will signify a great big crossroads our country is going through... but I cannot say which way it will go. I have thought "they just COULDN'T go that way" and had them "go that way" too many times.
"And where is Jeb Bush? He could have placed Terri into protective custody. So could President Bush."
Good question.
Why would a president who has power to intervene with executive order - not do it when an innocent American citizen is being dehydrated to death?
Think people. We live in a media culture where cameras and audio can make people look any way they want to.
I voted for Bush. I supported his campaign. I've stood behind him.
If he doesn't do something soon to help Terri, I, for one, no longer trust his friendly smile and engaging personality. Afterall, Judge Greer was a Republican and a Christian too.....
What is really going to be sickening after Terri dies is seeing people continue to praise this president. There is NO excuse for his not writing an executive order. None whatsoever.
But why should he? Most Americans are ignorant of the fact that he has this option, first of all. Secondly, most people continue to believe he has Terri's best interests at heart.
His quick flight to Washington was media hype if he fails to write an executive order.

Thank you
I know what you mean. My dad is there. I am going to see him this summer but if something happens I will not spend any money in the state that isn't necessary. But I just have to go see my dad....it's been too long.
Why would he want a burial plot for Terri when he swears she requested to be cremated and to have her ashes left in PA?
Let's not forget that Clinton pardoned even Marc Rich and a pedophile.
That is unless Michael is slipping her something to hurry the process. Salt would be one thing that is going to be undetectable.
Yes! They were with him yesterday too but weren't allowed to speak.
I understand your frustration. Involved are a Republican governor, a Republican Congress (both houses) and a Republican president who thusfar have been unsuccessful in something so obviously moral and just as feeding an otherwise healthy woman who cannot feed herself.
Amen to that!
O Lord, we offer you
all the burdens of this sad vigil,
the frustrations,
the despondancy,
the grief,
the sorrow,
the sense of outrage,
the impatience,
the desparation
the longing
the need for final resolution
the desire to help thwarted,
we give it all to you,
who told us to give you all our burdens,
we offer it all up,
our carrying this particular cross you have given us.
O Lord,
hear our prayer,
and let our cry come unto thee.
Remember you child Terri,
living witness to the evil of the age,
and keep her close,
and give us,
who work the work you have asked us to
the peace that comes from
walking in your way,
doing the tasks you give us,
answering your call,
this day and always,
amen.
Thanks, FR_addict. You, too, are awesome.
Thanks for the translation of the Nazi poster.
The same cost/benefit analysis is being applied to the Schiavo case.
The barbarians have already scrambled over the walls.
In fact, the walls are crumbling.
I contact Laura early this morning. Her show today was unbelieveable. Laura understands exactly what happening to Terri.
Tell Terri's family we love them. Sorry for the delay in letting you know about this. I've been hanging out with my fax machine. :)
They are afraid that if they intervene it will be interpreted as intereferring in the checks and balances of power, and that ultimately it will be ruled unconstitutional and we'll be back at square one. I guarantee that's Jeb and the President's thinking...and they might just be right.
