"Not so fast...there's no Somalia or Kosovo themed hotel in Vegas."

I was thinking a South Asian theme to attract South Asians (like Imperial Palace). But can you imagine the buffets? Indo-Pak warfare right there. Holy cow!

(Wynn = 'Burgh Boy made good)

No kidding? I didn't know he was from the 'Burgh.

Vegas is a hoot. I actually have family out there. They avoid The Strip the way I avoid The Mall here in the DC area.

I forgot to mention The Golden Nugget -- one of the classier downtown casinos.

I was going to mention the Nugget too, but I forgot.

Your picture of Wynn has two towers to the lower left in the photo.
They are the Turnberry, 4 towers, condo's. $600,000 for a 1000 square foot loft. The owner of E-Bay bought the top 2 floors of one tower for 18 million dollars.

Nuttin beats the Bellagio. Class and unmatched service without the trendy hype.

Yes, "The Fremont Street Experience." Lots of fun. And it's always nice to see Vegas Vic and Vegas Vicki. When I lived in LA, my job took me to Vegas on a regular basis. At first I loved it, but after a few times, the last thing you wanted to hear was the ringing of a slot machine. Even in the grocery stores. But's it's been a few years now, so I can indulge in nostalgia for it.

The Alladin is sold. New owner....

I was not overly impressed with the hotel or casino, though the shopping bazaar was pretty good. I visited within a few months of the opening during one of my last pre 9/11 Comdex trips.

The one thing I will say that impressed me, however, was the harem costumes on some of the hottest serving girls I've ever seen!!!!
