Thank you for those words, but I still don't feel any easier.
The mule will attack anyone who tries to mess with her, and that's better than a guard dog. Also, this is rural North Dakota, which still as safe as most of the country used to be.
Donkey's are wonderful. My standard sized donkey is a real teddy-bear. He is as sweet as they come.
Mine are a bunch of moochers, begging for snacks everytime they see me. When I had them in the front pasture they would chase my truck like dogs when I came home from work. When company came over, the first question is "What's wrong with those crazy donkeys?" because the entire herd would come stand at the fence and hee haw at them. We put them in the back pasture a few months ago and they are still just as silly. My wife was washing her car in the back yard last week, and every time she stepped around the car into their field of view she'd hear a chorus of hee hawws. When she moved to the other side, out of their sight, the ruckus would cease. When she stepped back around the chorus would start up again. The process repeated itself the entire time she was out there. lol
warning: off color humor
go to a party where they BBQ a donkey...everyone gets a p;iece of ass!!! lol
Thank you! When I read this for the first time, the firs thought was, "Well, you idiots just maade this child a sitting target."
I was so totally disgusted. I don't care how smart the mule is - a bullet will stop it dead in it's tracks. No pun intended.
Gosh.
Nah, the mule has shoes.
BTTT!!!!!!
I would have LOOOOVEd this as a kid. (heck, still would!)
The distance was about the same and it was uphill too. We did get to ride the schoolbus though.
BTW: It was only a three room school with a classroom, kitchen with a cook and a lunchroom that doubled as a community center. A potbelly stove in the classroom was the only source of heat. Funny, but I do not remember ever being cold during the winters. Of course that was several winters ago now........
