Works every time (wink)......
Yes, you're black! LOL!
A vital effort is underway here in North Carolina to get the 6% cap removed.

"The sole purpose of a "40" is to get drunk."
And there's something wrong with that?
Heck, what you guys call malt liquor we just call beer up here in the Great White North.
When I want to get a quick buzz I pick up some Crest Super Lager - 500 ml cans at 10% v/v alc. You down one of those and you're already half cut.
Maybe you're not old enough to remember when the same demographic drank blackberry brandy or Night Train. It shows a switch in drinking habits. Why? Probably because the 40s are marketed directly to the consumers via billboards etc. and because they are more readily available through a greater number of outlets. Brandy and Night train could only be sold in liquor stores, 40s can be sold by delis or wherever beer is sold.
Would drinking habits change if 40s were eliminated? Yes,by definition they wouldn't drink 40s anymore. Consumers would go back to blackberry brandy, night train, etc. or find something else.
What's the word?
Thunderbird
What's the price?
Fifty twice.
Oh so nice!
And I say it's all just talk. Unless it's the one they call.. Coldcock.
Don't forget the Thunderbird Shake-Em-Up!
I don't know. I was in one eatery where a guy asked the waiter for a 40. He poured himself some and then poured the rest on his right hand. The waiter ran over and asked him why he did that. The man replied: "It's for my 'date'"!
You are the eventuality of an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. While it remains a burden assiduously avoided, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you, inexorably, here.
This is the one I drink.
Won't it go flat without a cap?
Yeah I have memories of card games till 5 or 6 AM, with 40s of Mickey's. At the time, most of my summer money went to tuition and rent.
