Then he fired a blunt warning directly at Washington, making it clear that he is prepared for war with the United States if necessary.

"We won't brook foreign interference," he said defiantly. "We don't hope for foreign interference, but we are not afraid of it."

And Secretary of Stae Rice is scheduled to visit these belligerent communists this week.

And they are making such naked taunts.

Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao tried to reassure journalists that the law was a peaceful gesture, "not a war bill."

Typical imperial grandstanding now camouflaged in a sense of victimhood.

The Politics of Iron Balls is now in vogue again. Many would be tempted to dismiss as just a big talk. It is not. It may not attack tomorrow. However, they are more than willing to attack much sooner than many think.

Hey! I wanted to be the Aspiring Overlord! Ah, well...

My guess is that China desperately wants Taiwan under its control before the 2008 Olympics.

Taiwan and Japan had better wake up. They have the capabilities to develop nuclear weapons. They need to produce warheads and let China know they would use them.

But at his annual press conference in the grandiose Great Hall of the People, he began talking of the "bullying and humiliation" that China had suffered from foreigners over the past century.

Will Beijing 2008 be the 1936 Berlin Olympics all over again? We will find out soon enough. Be to be prepared just in case.

Wal-Mart is financing the Chinese ability to threaten war against the United States. They are not alone. American businesses by the score have become traitors to their own country, fueling the Chinese military build-up.

This is a national disgrace.

When we go to war with China, we can thank our own traitorous businesses for the many American deaths that will result.

...but interestingly enough completely failed to make any mention of the bullying and humiliation that Chinese has suffered at the hands of the communist party.

Excuse me! Taiwan is already independent. They don't have to declare anything. They just have to keep doing what they're doing.

You might find this information on Congressman Hunter's site to be interesting. It's not very new (though nothing that's declass'd is really new), but it's informative.

The Cox Report on Chinese Nuclear Espionage
http://wwws.house.gov/search97cgi/s97_cgi?action=View&VdkVgwKey=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ehouse%2Egov%2Fhunter%2FCoxReport%2Ehtm&DocOffset=4&DocsFound=4&QueryZip=PRC+Missile+and+Space+Forces&SourceQueryZip=vdkvgwkey+%3Csubstring%3E+%22%2Fhunter%2F%22&Collection=members&ViewTemplate=memberview%2Ehts&

And don't read it without also reading the news at the following,

Missile Defense Agency
http://www.acq.osd.mil/mda/mdalink/html/mdalink.html

and remembering that there is much, much more in defense--some that we know about and a lot more that we don't.

BTW, if that last link doesn't work, this link to the first page of the report will. It includes a link to the next page.

Report of the SELECT COMMITTEE ON U.S. NATIONAL SECURITY AND MILITARY/COMMERCIAL CONCERNS WITH THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA
http://www.house.gov/hunter/Cox-Overview.html

And there's more info on his site.

"When we go to war with China, we can thank our own traitorous businesses
for the many American deaths that will result."

The global economy is supposed to assure us that such an event (war with China)
can never occur.

When it does, the economic consequences will be staggering.
Watching the world economy unravel will be more horrifying to watch
than the wars which will result.
