When are you going to start acting less like a 30-something kid who is short of clues on this matter.
Do you still feel the sick need to "verify" Ashley Smith's words?
Older is sometimes better.
Your need for "verification" of Ashley's story is bull, silly and sophomoric, imo.
Uhmmm...since this is addressed to me- I need to point out in no post on any thread did I remotely suggest a need to verify this young woman's account of events.
In fact, her sincerity overcame my cynicism.
When our discussions turn heated and become personal, perhaps taking it to FReep-mail is a wise choice?

I mean that her kid was out of town when this happened. What kind of camp is held in the winter?

Who knows, if someone else had taken the time to really LISTEN to him, maybe all of this would not have happened. And maybe he just had to realize how in bondage to sin he was before he would listen. Most people don't repent until they see what destruction sin wreaks in their lives and the lives of others.
It doesn't matter if anyone did or did not listen, he is still guilty and responsible for his own behavior. If no one listens, or if someone treats you badly, then we are supposed to take that as a negative object lesson and learn from it and not pass on the evil behavior.

It is being reported today by the authorities that this "brother-in-Christ" has been acting defiant and proud regarding his murder spree. I'd wait until the corpses are buried and mourned before I start worrying that scumbag's "conversion".

It's really a tragic situation. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a nice guy. When a guy is in a situation like that he's probably telling the truth about his girlfriend setting him up. He simply lost it, big time. If others had been doing their job this would not have gone as far as it did. I hear that a 5 foot female was checking in this huge guy. Taking her gun was like taking candy from a child and NO one was watching this on the camera.

After what's she's been through personally and now this, I'd say she'll have allot of guys pursuing her. Seven hours with a guy like that and I don't expect her to walk out looking like Cheryl Tiegs.

I won't be.
If I was I'd give him life. I wouldn't give him capital punishment. He was out of his mind.

Yes, I was responding to your post 49. You were thinking about Elizabeth Smart, not Pamela Smart.
