Name of book? Author? Publishing company? Those facts alone will offer a great understanding.
I know history cold; especially English history. You can be "a 1,000% positive",but that doesn't really mean anything whatsoever.Your constant uneducated posts prove that you are abjectly ignorant of all that you do post about. Give it a rest.
Dig,dig,dig,dig,dig...aren't your arms getting tired?
Yes,that it would and likewise,I am more than happy and willing to post but a few of my sources;but NOT until after she does...for obvious reasons. LOL
I urge everyone to read these fine books.
"""nopardons, are you familiar with Charles C Coffin, a civil war journalist? Three of the books he wrote were Land of Liberty, Sweet Land of Liberty, The Boys of 76. Excellent reads, all of them. Not fast reads either. Very thought provoking. Land of Liberty begins in the 13th century, sharing unfortunate church history and how the puritans ultimately ventured to the new land...and why. It also includes the truths of Salem's witch trials and how they were a percentage of what had been going on in Europe for many years. Much more is written of course.
I urge everyone to read these fine books."""
You urge everyone? Or just me. Somehow, I don't think that
that you were sincerly earnest in your recommendation.
btw...post 17 shares my original suggestion of reading Coffin's books.
- Nopardons and I were engaged in an arguement. NoPardons has insulted my intelligence which heightened the intensity,
this is clear in the posts.
And then you come along, post to both of us, and ask Nopardons if she has read a certain book on History. No no wait. You have the audacity to ask me what publisher of the book I read certain information in.
As if I had not been forthright.
So no, you were not earnest and you are being an antagonizer.
My post 148 shows where I suggest the books to read
My post 149 shows that I first suggested the books in post 17
Your post 150 is simply childish.
Cromwell may have allowed Jews back into England, but they were treated VERY harshly under his rule and refused citizen rights of any and every kind.
The Diggers and the Ranters and the Levellers were all not only suppressed by him,but put down and they were Christians.
Try reading "A SOCIAL HISTORY OF ENGLAND", by Asa Briggs, "THIS WAR WITHOIUT AN ENEMY", by Richard Olland, "THED OXFORD ILLUSTRATED HISTORY OF BRITAN",edited by Kenneth O. Morgan, "THE LIFE AND TIMES OF CHARLES II", by Christopher Falks, and " LONDON THE BIOGRAPHY", by Peter Ackroyd (whose other books are absolutely wonderful, well written, brilliantly researched, and eminently readable!) for starters. Once you've managed to aster the material in the aforementioned books, I'll give you another book list.
"" Once you've managed to aster the material in the aforementioned books, I'll give you another book list.""
Why would I want your book list? Why would I want to ask you for your personal recommendation. I should do my own damn research, remember?
Unless, you are making an effort to conciliate but I doubt it.
Just learn a new word, kid? ROTFLOL
Also,
The internet has aided and full blown brought about the conservative revolution. Because of the internet, and search engines like google people have been able to learn the truth.
"Democrats are afraid people will learn the truth, Republicans are afraid they won't. "
You are an elitist.
She has challenged you on some serious issues/subjects. I hardly consider her being guilty of elitism. Share, please?
I would say it's her hubris.
I would venture to say that could apply to any one of us, one time or another. Would you agree?
