"Better add depression to that list."

In case you didn't notice in your own example, Joe hanged himself; someone else didn't do it for him. Why don't you stretch a bit farther to try to make a point. I'm sure you've got it in you.

"I wouldn't want you doing it"

Likewise, I'm sure.

'Yes, we're emotional, it's called "love".'

In the Schiavo case, your "love" verges on hate. How else could you keep a body in a vegetative state for 15 years. It's sick.

Just what flag are you waving?

The Jolly Roger, I suspect.

I had forgotten that you require more explanation than most....do forgive me.

The point was that Ronald Cranford said the hanging was a rational suicide since he wasn't going to get any better.

"The vegetative state needs considerable skill to diagnose, requiring assessment over a period of time;"

What, her being PVS for 15 years isn't long enough to make a diagnosis? Has she ever come out of her PVS? No, not for 15 years. Of course, you don't believe she is in a PVS, so there's no point arguing this.

Florida is still too dangerous to even drive through, much less visit for vacation or plan to live there.

I agree, I will never visit the state until they get their act together. I am trying to boycott all their products, too. Since I live in California, it makes it quite easy.

Terri has shown all of the world her determination to live, by overcoming all the neglect and abuse heaped on her by her "well-meaning" husband and his George Soros financed friends.

Here's an informative website, just scroll down to Terri's article.

Your forgiven. Inaccurate, but forgiven. Who cares what Ronal Cranford said. That's his opinion about something that SOMEONE ELSE did, not Cranford's actions. Your argument, if there is one, is apples and oranges, and unless you are really not a very intelligent person, you would see this. But then again.....

Dr. Ronald Cranford is the leading bioethics physician in this country. Many believe he founded the field of bioethics. He has testified for death in every single case of dehydration which went to court, to the best of my knowledge.

He is sometimes called "the father of bioethics".

It looks like the judge is acting in a manner that will improve his standing when his time comes to enter the mother ship.He must have enjoyed the L Ron Hubbard book called Dire-Derelicts.The judge should shut his mouth until he stops speaking out of his ass.

From the same link..on those misdiagnosed PVS patients.

"Andrews noted that all of the misdiagnosed patients were severely disabled; 65% were either blind or profoundly visually impaired.....Other study patients had significant motor impairments. One such patient had severe joint contractures requiring surgical release and physical therapy before he was able to sit properly."

"All 17 misdiagnosed patients were found to range in cognitive ability from level 5 (aware but severely impaired) to level 8 (nearly normal) on the Rancho Los Amigos scale."

In a BMJ editorial, Minneapolis neurologist Ronald Cranford pointed out that the quality of life of the 17 misdiagnosed patients was still questionable. "I would speculate," Cranford wrote, "that most people would find this condition far more horrifying than the vegetative state itself, and some might think it an even stronger reason for stopping treatment" (i.e., food and fluids).

The Clearwater Bar Association is a VOLUNTARY bar. Lawyers and Judges need only belong to the state bar. Most of these voluntary bars are exercises in Cliques and can easily succumb to logan political haggling.

In many if not most cases, a voluntary Bar is about as irrelevant as the ABA. (or the Oscars depending on your reference).

You will NEVER catch a voluntary bar condemning a judge. (no matter how insane or kooky the behavior.) They will praise a judge even if they have to create fluff that means nothing.
