J. Bolton only reminds me of one thing: CUBA. He has the voice that I and my family here in Miami, have been waiting to hear for years on the subject of Cuba. Bush, once again you pleasantly surprise me.

Is this the same John Bolton who delivered the US position to the UN Conference on the Illicit Trade in Small Arms, back in 2001?
http://www.grip.org/bdg/g1894.html

We do not support measures that prohibit civilian possession of small arms. This is outside the mandate for this Conference set forth in UNGA Resolution 54/54V. We agree with the recommendation of the 1999 UN Panel of Governmental Experts that laws and procedures governing the possession of small arms by civilians are properly left to individual member states. The United States will not join consensus on a final document that contains measures abrogating the Constitutional right to bear arms.

It really is interesting that the EU lefties think we've been vindicated. I thought they were too far gone for that. On the other hand, they are lefties and we know how easy it is for lefties to flip-flop, particuarly when it doesn't cost them anything to do so.

It should. They all have acted like punks and 'ho's and they deserve to have their life suck for awhile.

Disarming America has always been one of the UN's major goals.

Disarming America has always been one of the UN's major goals.

Nonsense.

Disarming Americans has been their goal.

The UN has always been in favor of armed governments, and they'd be perfectly happy with the US retaining it's military capacity if they could get it under proper political control.

That involves, though, destroying the political power of Jacksonian America.

And they see gun control as one of their principle tools in that process.

Not because they want to get rid of guns, but because they want to get rid of gun owners.
