Mr Big made the list with "Be With You" but some on the panel noted that the song was about waiting in line for a prostitute, so technically, Mr. Big's song was actually the best bad love song.

"Afternoon Delight" by some one-almost-hit-wonder.
"You Light Up My Life" by Debbie Gibson
"Mandy" by Barry Manilow (shoulda stayed with commercials)

Feelings. can't recall the artist's name. Pity.

This one sounded really funny in a bar in the Philippines: "Peelings, nutting more dan... peelings"

Hands down, the best love song is by the late Harry Nillson (SP?)

"You're breakin' my heart, you're tearing it apart so f*** you!"

Paul McCartney's "Silly Love Songs" make me consider the Hunter S. Thompson solution.

"Love Will Keep Us Together", by The Captain and Tenille. Dead, dead, dead last.
Sorry Jeeves, but "Muskrat Love" has that one--and all other contenders--beat:

Muskrat, muskrat candlelight
Doin' the town and doin' it right
In the evenin'
It's pretty pleasin'

Muskrat Susie, Muskrat Sam
Do the jitterbug out in muskrat land
And they shimmy
And Sammy's so skinny

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
Singin' and jingin' the jango
Floatin' like the heavens above
It looks like muskrat love

Nibbling on bacon, chewin' on cheese
Sammy says to Susie "Honey, would you please be my missus?"
And she say yes
With her kisses

And now he's ticklin' her fancy
Rubbin' her toes
Muzzle to muzzle, now anything goes
As they wriggle, and Sue starts to giggle

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
Singin' and jingin' the jango
Floatin' like the heavens above
It looks like muskrat love
La da da da da ...

Not as bad as "Afternoon Delight" That is truly the worst song ever on so many levels.

No one does a love song better than Florence Foster Jenkins or Mrs. Miller. Google, for all of you with taste. The rest of us know and cringe just hearing the names.

Singing WITH a girl.... Kiki Dee..

She did a pretty good version of "I've got the music in me".
