The problem here is that Frist didn't change the Senate rules the very first time the Democrats pulled this unconstitutional stunt. By not acting immediately, Frist allowed a simple rules change to be labeled as "The Nuclear Option"
There are only seven reasons for a super majority as written in the Constitution, and Presidential nominations isn't one of them. CALL YOUR SENATOR and tell him/or her to honor the Oath they swore to uphold and change the damn rules

What kind of a leader is this guy Frist? Does he stand for anything? I was kind of happy when Trent Lott was replaced, but now I'm not so sure.
I think with the 2004 election results, there are enough new conservatives in the senate that they could put some pressure on Frist to stop trying to appease the Demorats.

No I don't think she said that, but I think she DID say something to the effect of being willing to wear a condom on her head if it would get people to use them more.

I remember when she said in a press conference that she wouldn't object to issuing condoms to 5th graders, shortly after that bone headed remark, Billy Jeff fired her.
What I always laugh at when remembering General Elders, was her one of kind uniform that she fashioned all by her lonesome
