I oppose the death penalty for minors. I think in some instances it is for the greater good to execute someone.(Ted Bundy for example) I don't believe it deters crime, "particularly heat of passion crimes" and the truly sick and sadistic killers wouldn't be deterred by the death penalty, they don't operate on that level. Furthermore by killing someone we are assuming that are system never makes mistakes and every person put to death is truly guilty and not just have been guilty.
for the record I believe in life in prison without parole, some people don't deserve to see the light of day.
