I think a key to the article is a statement that blacks were disproportionately ticketed in "some cities." One can assume that in "other cities" there was no disproportion or more whites happened to get ticketed. Therefore, teh statistics might even out if we don't just look at "some cities" selected based on their desired outcome.

However, I must observe based on anectodal evidence that cops pull more blondes over, blondes in sports cars especially, and anybody in red sports cars especially.

The officer revealed that the car had those super-dark tinted windows (which are illegal in the first place), so it was impossible to tell race of the driver when he started pursuing him for speeding.

So the officer obviously racially profiled the car. (/sarcasm)

I used to often drive through Greenwood and Ellendale, DE on the way to the beach. Both towns are quick to pick up anyone speeding, tho' Ellendale is far worse, a speed trap. Anyone going over 60 (or even 50) through either town is not driving with the traffic flow, I can assure you.

ALot of young blacks (not the older folks) drive leaning way down in the seat and yacking to their buddies in the car, while swerving in the lane. Not Genetic, just bad habits, much like the gansta pants they wear.

With Asian chicks, I think it is genetic.

I am quite certain they did a study of the Jersey Turnpike using robot cameras that photoes all violators that showed that blacks speed disproportionately than whites, but those that violate, violate higher (ie. averge 80mph vs. 75mph) and have other "add-on" violations, such as no registration, no insurance, and no DL.

I remember that study. It was quietly shelved by the MSM when it did not produce the desired data.

Another good one is when a driver is stopped for driver erratically and the officer smells alcohol, the driver always says he has only had two beers..

Could be. After all, there was that episode where Norm said he was only going to have one beer, so he had a pitcher.

It's also possible that politicking and higher crime rates (BY blacks) has led to increased law enforcment in black neighborhoods, which causes more blacks to get tickets.

That is definately the case in my city. The young males are a close 2nd.

No turn signal, no concept of a speed limit, tailgating, weaving in and out of traffic only to tailgate someone else--I see it several times every day.

No doubt that bad drivers come in all stripes. Mostly from bad habits & distractions. But I swear to you you'll never see as large a collection of dangerous drivers than if you go to Chinatown when the ladies are out shopping.
