I would PRAY that he will do this. Is this something that he has legal power to do??
Can you make an animation that has a jackboot at the end?
In this case, proper application of existing laws would have been sufficient, but Judge Greer likes to make "findings of fact" that fit his views rather than reality.
The malpractice insurance company that had to pay up due to Terri's misdiagnosis should sue Michael to get the judgment award back. The incentive for Michael to remain a HINO would be gone and possibly he would divorce Terri.
Just thinking out loud. [Well, not really - I'm thinking in print.]
You're exactly right.
George Felos, Michael Schiavo's attorney, called the new motions little more than an attempt to clog the case with further delays. Felos has said even if Michael Schiavo were to divorce his wife, any new guardian would be obligated to remove Terri Schiavo's feeding tube because the court has ruled it is her wish not to be kept alive artificially.''These are just last-ditch, dilatory tactics,'' he told The Associated Press. ''I think everyone knows the parents are going to try anything, including throwing in the kitchen sink, to frustrate the court's final judgment and Terri's wishes.'' . . .
State Sen. Jim King, R-Jacksonville, called the request [to ask Gov. Bush to ask for a special prosecutor] an obvious tactic.
"The plan seems to be to elongate this as much as they can, and there's going to be all kinds of that in the coming weeks," King said.
Yes, but. If the DCF filing goes public, we get our hands on it, too.
We know what King is playing with.
What's wrong with Florida, anyway??
The people in POWER who are supporting Terri's death are Republicans. Here's two of them listed below.
Judge Greer - Republican
Senator King - Republican
Why are there so many pictures of smiling people on that website? Creepy.
Florida Republicans need to look at Illinois and see what's in store for them if they don't shape up.
I would PRAY that he will do this. Is this something that he has legal power to do??
I sincerely believe God is putting each and every one of us to the test with respect to this case. He knows exactly what we are thinking and what is in our hearts - he knows Terri is his little one who the evil ones wish to destroy. Governor Bush is going to have to make his choice - put Terri above politics and stepping on toes if necessary. He could also petition his brother or anyone else in Washington.
All we can do is watch and pray and do whatever we can!
>BARTOW -- The author of Oregon's physician-assisted dying law drew applause at a Monday forum when she said she shudders at politicians "getting involved in the most intimate, private end-of-life decisions."<
Excuse me, but I want politicians involved when there are liberal activists trying to push this kind of ghoulish agenda into precedent law.
Note, the use of language - "intimate, private". This witch is pushing to use the same train of thought employed in getting abortion on demand legalized.
It's imperative to keep light shining on these cockroaches.
BREAKING RADIO NEWS: Representative Dennis Baxley just talked about Bill 701. He said he would INSURE THAT IT WOULD APPLY TO TERRI SCHIAVO! WFLA RADIO 11:32 p.m. est
Bump!
It's imperative to keep light shining on these cockroaches. -- got that right! as a Floridian, that has special meaning (we grow 'em extra big here, eh summer?! )
thanks, fv -- prayer bump for Terri.
This bugs the crap out of me. What's artificial about being fed?
You know what Jesus said about shining a light on evil -- evil people try to stay out of the light because it exposes who and what they are. Keep on shinin' Freepers.
I read your post and heard in my head "This Little Light of Mine". :)
