For some reason the Libs want us to forget about NPR.
Maybe it's because two of their more "known" hosts are now working for Roger Ailes.
That makes them "sellouts" to the RATS.
You realize, of course, that I was being sarcastic...
A DU'er calling me a 'minion' does not hurt, nor does it the other twenty million daily or so that tune in for a visit.
"I'm all for people hearing what Liberals REALLY believe, rather than just the lies and equivocations told on the campaign trail."
Umm...hate to break this to you...but "lies and equivocations" ARE what the Liberals REALLY believe in.
Might make a good bumper sticker.

The Idiot Detector
Nothing official, but I see Air America arriving in the Metroplex any day now. New outfit is taking control of 1190 AM and a new station on 1160 AM. My guess is one of them will be doing the Lib talk format.
Don't forget the RINO's that are responsible for this irresponsible extortionist taxation.
"in 2006 we will hear liberals piss and moan about how "our message didn't get out". "
You are a true soothsayer Raoul.
This is already the message The Screaming Blue Messiah a.k.a. Howard Dean is preaching to the party faithful.

Thanks DR. Funny thing is that everytime I duel with the DUmmies that tagline becomes all the more truthful.
I like the idea for a bumpersticker.
You're welcome. It's how I listen to Laura Ingraham while I'm at work.
To put Air America on the air, a lot of black and other minority broadcasts were disenfranchised.
Either of these stations "serve the minority community"? It would be in keeping with liberal Air America's traditions if it did. "Hey, we're liberals and we're here to take care of you, so shut up and listen."
But Raoul...don't you see? That's NOT ENOUGH stations or hosts!
We have to get MORE stations and MORE hosts to get OUR message out to counter the 63 MILLION Rush Limbaughs and 30 MILLION Sean Hannity's out there that seem to be on every station every where we go! (/sarcasm)
DU patriots in the Dallas Texas area should listen to Darrell Ankarlo on 570 KLIF radio from 5 - 9 AM.
http://www.ankarlo.net/
(That's Darrell on the right up on his billboard near the bottom of his web page)
Also, Salem Communications' lineup of conservative talk show hosts are doing well, mostly because they are reaching a core of strong repeat listeners: Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, Hugh Hewitt and Mike Gallagher.
Good point. All these station have to maintain a "public file" to show what they're doing to serve the community. Anyone can go by at any time and inspect this file. And if anyone doesn't like what they see in that file they can file a complaint with the FCC challenging the renewal of the liscense of that station next time it's due.
Maybe some of the blacks who were disenfranchised by having SCARE America Radio bump off their original programming should file these kind of complaints.
NPR, KLIF has Alan Colmes, there are several weekend programs, KRLD gets under my skin a lot- I haven't listened in a while... there used to be a liberal talk station at 105FM...
BUMP
"Why do they want a liberal talk show station?"
After having done numerous "recon by fire" missions over at DU...I've seen that the running opinion over there is that the media is biased to the CONSERVATIVES! yes that's right they lump CNNABCNBCCBS all of them into that group.
They were hoping...no PRAYING that when sKerry was elected he'd direct the FCC to indict some of the heads of the netoworks they felt were culpable in the hiding of W's "deciet" by not covering it on their nightly news shows.
