"My private life has become an industry. People are making money out of it," he complained.

Coming from someone who has never actually done anything in his life, this is pretty ridiculous.

Well then quit your 'job' as royalty, get a job and support yourself and your hunny. Then you do what you please without any qualms.

You are a kept man and the mistress of the British citizenry that support you and your lifestyle. A lifestyle many will never experience at all.

It's a lot like hitting yourself with a hammer, Charlie, because it feels good when you stop.

Wish I understood why so many people criticize this man. There are worse problems than poverty, and he has had some of those problems, and his wealth did not avail him.
As for the first Mrs., nobody twisted poor Diana's arm, more than they twisted his. Less, I am sure.
Now he's approaching his twilight years, still in love with the same honey, and he wants to make an honest woman of her. How is that a bad thing?
Seems to me the Prince has firmed up, grown up and wised up in his fifties, which is not so very late, for a man.

Prince Charles claims he has been shown "no compassion" by the British public as a result of his relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles.

No compassion is due him. His "relationship" with that woman compromised his relationship with his WIFE from day one.

I watched the wedding in 1981, it was lovely. I could care less about this adulterous union becoming "official".

If I was his mom, I wouldn't attend either.

There's nothing 'Royal' about this guy at all, other than he seems to be a royal jackass. King he could never be. His whining about his private life reminds me of the spoiled elitist Hollywierd brats who want, or I should say, expect it all but don't care to sacrifice a thing for it.

The more valorous kings of England past are doing 900rpm in their graves! Sheesh! If this is what royalty has come to, retire it.
