Other than testicular atrophy there doesn't appear to be a downside.

don't forget the strain on the heart and organs, and that heart valves do fail, and oft times, surgical intervention is required.

Let's be clear about this - Arnold made an informed, legal choice many years ago that he would use steroids to be the best at body building. Many of us would have said "no thanks." So why is this news worthy now? Let's recognize this as what it is - yet another hit piece by the RATS who hate his politics.

Steroids have not caused a fraction of the harm that automobiles, tobacco and fast food have.

Steroids have not caused a fraction of the harm that automobiles, tobacco and fast food have. Although I agree with your statement our society idolizes atheletes who may be using steroids and sending a dangerous message to their young fans that drug-taking is the only way to compete successfully.

Don't forget gynecomastia too. (Enlargement of the male breasts) Colloquially known as "bitch tits."

On the outside there's Hair loss, acne, temper problems. On the inside is where I'm more concerned.

Nice to see that the Governor is doing his part to be a role model to the nation's youth.
