It is rather simple for me spiritually.

If my body has become a prison, and people are preventing me from being with God and Heaven, I would be rather angry.

So far, I have not read a single argument about how this is helping Terri spiritually.

If a group of Freepers are willing to take full physical, financial and spiritual responsibility for Terri, then I will absolutly support that effort. If that happens, I will personally donate my own money to this group.

As I said, it is a rather simple task for former military Freepers to move Terri's body to another location...

My guess, is that nobody is willing to commit to such a task. Talk is cheap, but actions speak louder than words. Funny about that.

Hildy, you just said it best:

I think he is doing what he thinks is the right thing and everybody is following the law.

Because it's the ONLY thing. And what we should be discussing is why it is the only thing. It's such a false argument because it's the only way people are allowed to die in Florida. Since it's so horrible, you'd think all of you who are mortified about it should do something to change it. But you won't.

Get off of your ass, and form with a group of citizens who are willing to take care of this woman.

It would only take 20 minutes, for military trained people to remove Terri from the hospital and place her in another location.

Talk is cheap....

After watching him on television and hearing the words that came from his own mouth, from watching his demeanor, I believe that he is a bigger villian [to use your term and be polite]than people on this forum thinks that he is.

My personal opinion of Michael would get me banned from this forum.

I based my opinion solely on what I observed when he was on t.v.

Actually, that is illegal, and I want Terri Saved, but legally, not illegally like you have suggested you think I should do if I cared so much. Well, I have been doing everything I can legally, how about you?

Oh, it is the only thing they can do to kill her? They can't make her stop breathing cause she is breathing, but since they won't even try and feed her through her mouth than they are just to kill her by starving her! Pathetic!

Why is the local Catholic Bishop Lynch silent on this issue?

You must not have read the whole article...

Bishop Robert N. Lynch: Terri’s Catholic bishop has never made a clear, unequivocal appeal for her life, despite a recent document from the Pope disallowing death by starvation/dehydration.

Campaign Finance: The law firm employed by both the St. Petersburg and Venice Diocese is DiVito and Higham. Allegedly, Joseph DiVito is a personal friend of Bishop Lynch and has contributed to the re-election campaign of Judge Greer.

Does that answer your question?

If you want to follow the law, then the law will be completed this month.

If you do not wish to follow the law, then there is something that Freepers can do about her life.

Your choice, but talk is cheap.

Is a life more valuable than the law?

Well, Mr. Humble that is your privilege and I respect it.

However, we are not talking about you.

I do not think that it is right to vote on wheather someone else who has not committed a capital felony should be put to death when they can live with a little help, such as feeding.

Theeri has a strong will to live. For years she has survived treatment that would have killed another person.

I will close by saying, No decent person could treat her or anyone the way she has been treated and no decent person will stand for someone to treat another human being like she has been treated and remaim silent about it.

Let me ask you something ... many years ago Michael Schiavo sued the Doctors for malpractice for not discovering his wife's potassium imbalance. He won quite alot of money for that, didn't he. Don't you think that if there was ANY evidence of foul play the lawyers representing the Doctor's would have at least hinted at it?

Why, in the false concept of helping her, are we preventing her from being with God and in Heaven today?

Well maybe we should kill everybody so they aren't prevented from being with God and in heaven. Why shouldn't we? Whatever your answer is to that.. apply it to Terry.

Umm.. how about.. "Thou shall not kill"?

It's the only way...and it happens alot. She's not the only one. If you don't like the law, go fight to change it, but it's legal.

No, it is not legal to kill. it is murder and not legal to do in this country. The law that allows Terri to die was obviously not intended to be used in this matter and Judge Greer knows it, but he still decided he is going to kill this women anyways! SICK!

I highly respect your opinion and why it was stated. In almost all aspects, I totally agree with you.

My only problem is obtaining factual information which can document what you have stated about her treatment in the hospital.

If what you have stated is factualy correct, I simply can not understand why a group of Freepers is not willing to risk themselves to liberate such an abused woman.

Comments beyond this would rather insult the male gender....

Because of the very fact that I believe in God it is not my, nor any human's decision when to have her join Him.

But it is humans keeping her alive.
Left to herself she would die.

Human decisions so far are keeping her living.
