Thanks for the ping. This is just another example of how EVERYONE but US taxpayers benefit from illegal immigration.

Your Post #2 is on target. However, it seems the fox has him by the short hairs.

The money lost on social services is insignificant compared to the cost we bear from corrupt state administrations that illegals help to install. In California the Gray Davis gang alone ran up a deficit around 40 billion dollars.

Americans have to wonder why? Importing illegal aliens from Mexico appears to be more important than national security. There must be a pretty strong hold on those "short hairs"... Pemex oil maybe?

"I hope you are being ironic."

Not really. I was struck by the contradiction.

"We have too many of them and they are destroying our culture."

Our culture is the sum of all immigrants isn't it? But, yes we probably are adding too many to the population for various reasons.

as the Mexican component of our culture increases, our culture will become increasingly like theirs, which is one of corruption dominates and the rule of law doesn't exist.

We now have a country where over 10% of the workforce is not paying taxes, but they demand the use of taxpayer institutions as a "right"; the corporations benefiting from competing illegally donate money to prevent enforcement of the laws, so as to continue with their organized criminal enterprises; and individuals who aid and abet this are appointed to state supported positions, and referred to as "representatives" of the affected groups.

Personally I'd say we are pretty much there. The country is a criminal country now. Remember when the law was the law? Everyone had to go along? Gone. We now have open malfeasance by the people who are both elected and appointed, yet nothing happens to them or the lawbreakers.

Maybe it isn't Mexico yet, but it's getting damn close.

The Attorney General of the United States of America is a Mexican-American. Go figure.

In 2002, the net loss to U.S. natives from immigration was $68 billion.

To this, no one bats an eye, but let Bush send a few $$$ more to Iraq and he's considered Satan himself.

Those who remain behind in their home countries also benefit from the migration of their countrymen.

I don't have the link handy, but the dollars sent back to Mexico from illegals is Mexico's second largest industry. In other words, it's our dollars that's keeping Mexico from complete collapse. Imagine how many other countries that are functioning today only due to the US.

Actually our culture is not the sum of all immigrants unless you weight them all equally. Our culture is enhanced by immigrants who contribute as responsible law abiding citizens more than by those who are not. But no culture can absorb huge numbers of immigrants in too short a time regardless of the immigrants legality or illegality.

In the current situation there are too many, too quickly and too many of them are drains on our society to a greater extent than they are contributers.

I am fourth generation Arizonan and my great grandparents had a ranch right on the border near Naco, Arizona where immigrants are coming across. My grandparents immigrated legally, worked that land, learned English perfectly, worked hard and trained their children in good citizenship and character. Those coming across that very land come illegally, trample it, throw garbage on it, teach their children to break the law, demand that services be given them and demand that they receive those services in Spanish.

They need to be sent back. We cannot accept this rape without resisting it.

Did you see that O'Reilly segment last night where it was reported that border patrol officers were putting illegals on buses headed north? The three most popular destinations are Chicago, NYC, and Boston.

PA: "our culture will become increasingly like theirs, which is one of corruption dominates and the rule of law doesn't exist."

Smart: "The Attorney General of the United States of America is a Mexican-American. Go figure."

Pa: "that being the case, I don't expect a clampdown on illegal immigration anytime soon"

So you think he's corrupt? "Typical Mexican"?

A sum is a sum. Period

I agree there may be too many immigrants coming in for the resouces we have available. It has happened during various periods of US history.

If I understand you correctly by your analysis all immigrants are of equal weight but there are just too many of them now. However, that is O.k. because that has happened before in US history.

I do not believe there has ever been such a huge influx of illegal immigrants in the history of the US. Please correct me if I am wrong. There has never been such a negative immigrant influx either.About that I am certain.
