Viacom owns cBS.. and is and should be where the buck STOPS...
cBS is a pit... only Viacom can clean it out..
They won't unless a light is shined on them..
THEN... we'll see iceholes and elbows.. until then.. the pit will still wriggle with snakes..

Golly, gosh...it's all so confusing. How is the Tiffany network, with decades of investigative reporting under its belt, supposed to figure this out. Maybe they should get Morley and Steve and Leslie on it.
Why anyone would believe a CBS News report ever again is beyond me.

The amazing part is the arrogance of these people in handing out this ridiculously transparent nonsense.

re Rep. Maurice Hinchey (NY)......after listening to this guy last night on Hannity & Colmes, I thought the people he supposedly represents should immediately research how they can "impeach" him from this position. IMHO, seems like this guy is not playing with a full deck. Would not want him to be my representative!

Forget about impreaching him. Just medicate him, put him in a room with soft walls and get him a blazer with sleeves that tie in back.

A full deck?!
Hinchey doesn't even have the box the cards came in.

See BS went looking for dirt on the President and when they couldn't find any, they made some up with the help of willing participants like Mapes. When the "story" bit them in the arse, they hung Mapes out to dry. End of story!

This is hilarious. The CBS brass have to be pulling their hair out. This story won't go away, it just gets more bizarre. Then two weeks before CBS gives Dan Rather his fond farwell until he goes down the hallway to 60 Minutes, the leftwing bloggers and now Congressman Maurice Hinchey are putting forward the bizarre conspiracy theory that the faked documents were planted by Karl Rove via the bizarre James Guckert/Jeff Gannon.
You just had to hear Hinchey on Sean Hannity's show this afternoon. Unbelievable!

Ditto, re: Hinchey. Double ditto. Triple ditto, ditto ad infinitum......... You know how once in a while you meet a person and take and instantaneous dislike to them? Happened to me when I met Maurice years ago.

Wish I'd seen him on H&C. I did happen to see him on CNN the other day, and couldn't believe my ears. I thought there'd be a justifiable angry rebuttal from Rove, but I think he can handle it:) Hinchey unfortunately is my representative. Perhaps I should say, he represents those in my district who voted for him, again and again. He's always been popular here. Folks like to say he's done "so much for the Saugerties area." Other parts of the district don't cotton to him nearly as much, but they're outnumbered by the libs in Woodstockland. I'll see what I can do- lol!
