Re: Academia's glorification of PHONY Indian and self-avowed Marxist Ward Churchill's FREE HATE SPEECH.

The same old leftover Marxist propaganda style portrays Ward Churchill as a victim of a revived "McCarthyism" witchhunt. If you want to know what is the main nefarious source of "liberals" groupthink, it is the Internatl Fourth {Marxist) International publications at http://www.wsws.org:
Excerpt:
The new McCarthyism: the witch-hunting of Ward Churchill
By David Walsh
11 February 2005

"The witch-hunt spearheaded by the ultra-right, with the assistance of the media, against University of Colorado professor Ward Churchill has dangerous implications for academic freedom and free speech in the US. It represents the latest manifestation of the new McCarthyism, the drive to suppress and silence critics of Bush administration policy and its “global war on terror” in particular."

How many fallacies can you find in the above Marxist garnish?

Ward Churchill is a Hate-Speech domestic terrorist. WE the People have the unalienable right of our FREE SPEECH to reject him, to mock him, to criticize him, to censure him, to dump-on him. Furthermore, We the People do NOT HAVE to subsidize him with a taxfunded academic sinecure. If Churchill's Free Speech is protected, so is our speech free to condemn him.

This leftover crap about "witchhunting" is outrageous - typical proMarxist demonizing rhetoric.

Just because he was in a court martial, doesn't mean that he was found guilty.

Of course not. This only indicates that there is something further in his records to look at. I had not seen any mention of a court previously in discussion of his service. No date was even given, so no indication of where it took place, either; nor what the charges were, nor even the level of court.

A court might be something that partially explains his extreme views; or court-inducing charges might have stemmed from them.

Not posted as some kind of condemnation; just information.

Two in the hat, as they say. That is what Churchill deserves.
