"I really don't appreciate the picture that you paint of our men and women in uniform. Why would any serviceman...[blah, blah, blah]"

How about lack of any prerequisite regards suffering treasonous and seditious a$$h0les in protecting and defending our Constitution.

The police drove around to the flood-prone areas during hurricane Ivan year and warned people to leave. One old guy refused to leave. He told the police that God would save him.

The water started to rise and the police came around in a boat and offered to take him to dry land. He called down from his second story bedroom and said, "God will save me."

Late that night the guy was up on his roof and the police came by in a helicopter and tried to rescue him. He sent them away saying that "God will save me."

A few hours later his house was swept away and he drowned. When he met God he said "God, how could you have forsaken me after I trusted you?" God replied, "I sent a car, a boat, and a helicopter. What else do you want?"

I was the one that forwarded it to him, and when I got it it was about a SEAL. I don't care if you change it to a Coastie, it is still a great story!

I AM an athiest, and I still think the guy should have been knocked off the stage, because I am an ATHIEST, not an ANTI-CHRISTIAN HATEMONGER. I believe that any religion or belief system based on love is a good thing, I just don't believe that particular one. It, however, is nothing to be hated or feared or discriminated against.
A classroom is meant to teach you facts, not assault your beliefs. An academic forum is an appropriate place to debate political opinions (as long as the professor does nnot assert his/her opinion, thereby influencing those with differing opinions to not share them)but opinions and beliefs are two worlds apart.
To truly LEARN about politics, a young mind should be presented with both sides and allowed to form their OWN OPINION. A professor preaching one side is not something that tuition money should pay for.

I used to be addicted, but some people on here seem to want to attack the people on their side for ridiculous reasons. Too many virtual tough guys...I prefer to debate in person, where there is always the option of slapping an idiot.

"Your freedoms that are given by God and protected by the constitution do not include the 'right to incite'"

GOOD FRIGGIN' LINE!! I'm gonna use that one in the future, if you don't mind!
