It's funny, most numb skulls don't know that everything they buy has at something during it's life, it or one some of it's components have been transported by truck.

I wonder if the truth will ever be known in America about diesels and their emissions. In Europe, Asia, and Canada the studies show clearly that diesel emissions are considerably less harmful than what gasoline engines produce. A big difference is that diesel emissions are visible while gasoline engine exhaust is invisible, but the CO and CO² are produced at higher levels in the gasoline engines. It is somewhat funny that where the Kyoto treaty originated, the people drive more diesels than gas powered cars yet here in the states, diesels are cursed.
As long as the environMENTALISTS keep using junk-science nothing will change.
I have a 1982 Audi that gets 56 mpg around town and better than 60 on the highway. Yes, that is much better than the 2005 gas/elec. hybrids get. While the hybrid drivers get a pat on the back, I get the finger (or maybe I get the finger for my anti-democrat bumper stickers.)
