In terms of her birthdate, I tend to believe the earlier birthdate than any later birthdates for Hollywood actresses. I would bet that MSNBC might not be wrong. It's the Victoria Principal syndrome.

Did Victoria's mother lie about her age, too?

Sandra Dee was born Alexandria Zuck on April 23, 1942 in Bayonne, New Jersey. Her mother envisioned a show business career for her daughter and would often lie about her age in order to get Sandy where she wanted to go. For example, her mother enrolled her in school early so she could have a head start. Sandy was only four years old when she entered the second grade.

I don't know what it is about Spacey. He just creeps me out.

You must have seen "Seven."

"...we no longer are in the summer of our years...It makes you stop and think, where did they go?"

Yes, it does, and they're getting too short to waste time arguing about whether Sandra Dee deserved to have bad health or if somebody meant to imply she did.
She was a lovely lady. She and Bobby Darin at least SEEMED to be the ideal show business couple (I consider him to be the Sinatra of our generation) and it's sad and tragic that she never got over the marriage after all these years. It would be nice to think they are together again, don't you think?

It would be nice if I could remember what day my teddy bear disappeared, too.

It sounds very intriguing, I'll say that much for it.

Though, aside from Spacey himself, I have no idea who else is starring in that motion picture.

Kate Bosworth, Bob Hoskins, John Goodman are a few of the stars. It's very well done.

On April 5th I will be looking for a copy on DVD because Beyond the Sea is worth having in my film library, although I don't know how it will translate to the small screen. The music and staging were so great that it is really a shame that you missed it in the theatre. Check your Budget Cinemas. They may still show it.

GOD so LOVES us, I'm sure that is in his plan for us to be with our loved ones.

Sounds great!

I've always enjoyed Goodman's dramatic work, which I don't feel he gets nearly enough credit for.

I'll look into it.

:)
